A method and system for securely communicating with third parties who are authorized to control access to funds in a banking account held by a financial institution is disclosed. The method and system are particularly useful when the third party does not have direct access to account controls (for example, through a secure web portal or a secure banking application). While joint account holders, or other authorized users, of the banking account may communicate directly through an account management service, communication with the third party is mediated using a separate messaging service, such as a short messaging service (SMS). An authorization token may also be used as part of the approval process.

Communications methods and systems for secure account fund transfer using a third party

This disclosure describes systems and methods that identify activities for which scripts can be built to perform an activity when requested by a user. The scripts can be voice-activated by a defined customized voice command and can include delivery preferences. The user's identity can be verified by analyzing voice biometrics of the customized voice command. After performance of the activity, results can be delivered to the device in the format indicated in the script.

Voice interaction scripts

The described payment splitting technology can enable a person to split a cost of a product over a number of payments. For example, mobile device can receive a code for a product, receive an indication via the display of the mobile device that a person wants to split the cost of the product, and send a payment split indicator to a point of sale (POS) device. The POS device can scan the product, determine a cost for the product, receive the payment spilt indicator, and send the cost and the payment split indicator to a server where the transaction for the product can be authorized and the splitting of the payment can be approved.

The described systems and methods provide a user's mobile device with a graphical user interface that can provide information about the lowest price offered for one or more products. For instance, when a person at a physical retail store places one or more products in a physical shopping cart, a scanning device may scan the one or more products to obtain information about the one or more products, the scanned information is sent to a server that provides pricing and store location information to a mobile device based on the scanned information, the pricing and store location information can be analyzed by the mobile device to display the lowest price and store location for each product.

A system and method for automatically documenting a condition of a property and generating a request for return of a security deposit is described. In one embodiment, a method for automatically documenting a condition of a physical space includes determining an initial condition of one or more inspected elements in a physical space. The method also includes obtaining a current condition of the one or more inspected elements in the physical space. The method includes determining changes between the initial condition and the current condition for each of the one or more inspected elements. The method further includes generating a report documenting the changes of the one or more inspected elements in the physical space.

Rental deposit advocate system and method

A method and system of increasing the security of requests to access funds from a joint bank account by secondary users to permit a primary user to securely regulate fund usage are disclosed. The system and method are configured to link to a bank account and restrict access of funds by secondary users per conditions defined by the primary user(s). A software application receives requests for funds from secondary users for use during a transaction to be performed at a specific merchant location. The application requires geodata that supports the proposed transaction, for example by inclusion of an image taken in which GPS data is embedded. The request will only be conveyed to the primary user if the system determines the embedded GPS data corresponds to the location of the merchant.

Location-based purchase verification for fund transfers

The system and method are configured to link to a bank account and restrict the access of funds by secondary users per conditions defined by the primary user(s). An application can be accessed via a computing device that receives requests for funds from secondary users and requires the secondary user to also submit a digital image or video that supports their proposed transaction. The request will only be conveyed to the primary user if the necessary digital verification is received by the system.

Secure purchase verification for fund transfers

A system and method for dispatching messages from a user to at least one recipient over a telecommunications network is disclosed. The system includes a messaging system and an authentication system. The messaging system receives user messages, retrieves contact information for recipients on a user's contact list, and attempts to deliver messages to recipients on the list. The system may continue attempting to deliver messages to recipients until it finds a recipient who is available to receive the message. The authentication system is used to ensure the recipient is a person and not a machine. The messages could be audio messages delivered using a telephone network or messages delivered over an SMS network.
