The disclosure provides a display device and a driving method thereof. The display device includes a light emitting module and a display panel. The light emitting module includes an optical sensor and multiple light emitting diodes (LEDs). The LEDs are adjacent to the optical sensor. The LEDs emit red, green, and blue light. The LEDs dynamically convert brightness of the red, green, and blue light. The display panel is disposed on the light emitting module. The display device of the disclosure may achieve a full-screen display or have a higher resolution.

A vertical alignment liquid crystal display device (VA-LCD) includes a display panel. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels. Each pixel unit includes a first thin film transistor (TFT), a second TFT, and a liquid crystal capacitor having a pixel electrode and a common electrode. The common electrode is applied with a common voltage, a first gray voltage is applied to the pixel electrode through a first TFT, and a second gray voltage is applied to the pixel electrode through a second TFT different from the first gray voltage, such that liquid crystal capacitor maintains two different gray voltages in a display frame time of the VA-LCD.

An exemplary liquid crystal display (LCD) includes a casing and a liquid crystal panel accommodated in the casing. The casing includes a frame and a window surrounded by an inner side of the frame. The liquid crystal panel includes an outside surface essentially serving as a display screen for displaying images and a peripheral wall. The liquid crystal panel is attached to the frame, with the inner side of the frame contacting the peripheral wall of the liquid crystal panel, and the display screen exposed outside of the casing.

A system for displaying images including a display panel and a fabrication method thereof are provided. The method includes forming a first gate line and a second gate line at each row of pixels of the display panel, wherein the first gate lines and the second gate lines are separated and electrically isolated from each other. A first insulating layer is formed to cover the first gate lines and the second gate lines, and a plurality of via holes are formed in the first insulating layer to expose the first gate lines and the second gate lines. Then, a first conductive pattern is formed on the first insulating layer, such that the first gate line at each row of the pixels is electrically connected to the second gate line at an adjacent row of the pixels, by the first conductive pattern, through the via holes.

Two scanning lines and two data lines define two display pixels; each of the plurality of data lines is connected to at least two adjacent display pixels along the horizontal axis, and the at least two adjacent display pixels are driven by the two scanning lines, respectively. Each of the plurality of dummy data lines is disposed between two random adjacent data lines and is provided with gray scale voltage signals by a driving circuit of the display panel, thereby forming coupling capacitances between each of the plurality of dummy data lines and two pixel electrodes of the two display pixels.

A liquid crystal display (LCD) device includes an LCD panel, and a common voltage generating circuit configured for providing common voltages to the LCD panel. The common voltage generating circuit includes a microprocessor, a timer, a voltage adjustment circuit, and a look up table. The microprocessor is electrically connected to the timer, the look up table, and the voltage adjustment circuit. The timer is configured for recording a continuous operated time of the LCD panel. The look up table is configured for storing optimal common voltages corresponding to each continuous operated time. The microprocessor is configured for reading the optimal common voltage at set intervals corresponding to the continuous operated time, and controlling the voltage adjustment circuit to provide the corresponding optimal common voltage to the LCD panel.

A thin film transistor substrate, capable of being assembled, is attached to a filter substrate to provide a semi-finished liquid crystal display panel. The thin film transistor substrate includes a base substrate with thin film transistors formed thereon, wiring assemblies formed on the substrate and electrically connected to the corresponding thin film transistors selectively, metal sheets formed on the base substrate, a protection layer formed on the thin film transistors, the wiring assemblies, and the metal sheets, and a buffer module formed on the protection layer. The buffer module is positioned above a projection of a cutting line onto the base substrate, and the surplus materials of the filter substrate are removed along the cutting line.

An exemplary TFT substrate includes a substrate, signal lines, a common electrode, and a pixel electrode. The signal lines are arranged on the substrate along two perpendicular directions. One of each two signal lines perpendicular to each other includes a plurality of segments. Every two adjacent segments are arranged on two opposite sides of the other signal line of the two signal lines. The TFT substrate further includes a connection line. The connection line interconnects the two adjacent segments. The common electrode is arranged in a same layer as the connection line, and overlaps the segmented signal line along a direction perpendicular to the substrate.

An exemplary MVA LCD () includes a first substrate (), a second substrate (), and a liquid crystal layer () interposed between the two substrates. A common electrode () and protrusions () are formed at an inner side of the first substrate in order. Gate electrodes () and pixel electrodes () are formed on an inner side of the second substrate. A patterned gate insulating layer () is formed at the second substrate. The patterned gate insulating layer covers the gate electrodes, and a part of each pixel electrode.
