Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device (e.g., a base station) may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), an indication of a field type of a field between the UE and the wireless device. The indication of the field type may include one or more bits indicating the field type, a measure indicating a likelihood that the field type includes a first field type as compared to a second field type, an indication that the first type is the same as a second field type configured at the UE, or any combination thereof. The UE may select between a first set of beam weight vectors and a second set of beam weight vectors based on the field type. The UE may communicate, with the base station, a reference signal using a beam generated using a first beam weight vector from the selected set.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless node may transmit, to a second wireless node, an indication of an orbital angular momentum (OAM) base value that is associated with one or more OAM modes. The OAM base value may correspond to a number of antenna elements of an antenna ring at the first wireless node, and for each of the one or more OAM modes. Based on the OAM base value, the first wireless node may communicate reference signaling according to the one or more OAM modes using the number of antenna elements of the antenna ring. The second wireless node may use a same number of antenna elements based on the indicated OAM base value.

Apparatus, methods, processing systems, and computer readable mediums for beam management in multi-TRP scenarios are disclosed. An exemplary method generally includes receiving a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource configuration from at least one base station (BS) for one or more transmission hypotheses, wherein the CSI-RS resource configuration includes CSI-RS resources corresponding to at least a first downlink (DL) demodulation reference signal (DMRS)-port-group and a second DL DMRS-port-group, performing one or more CSI-RS measurements for the one or more transmission hypotheses based, at least in part on the CSI-RS resource configuration, and determining, for each of the one or more transmission hypotheses, a preferred reception beam for communicating with the at least one BS based, at least in part, on the one or more CSI-RS measurements.

Beam management enhancements for multi-TRP scenarios

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may determine that a distance between an end of a first downlink control information (DCI) and a corresponding first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) and a distance between an end of a second DCI and a corresponding second PDSCH satisfy a minimum distance threshold for a user equipment (UE). The ends of the DCIs are to be received at the same symbol. The base station may transmit the first DCI, the first PDSCH, the second DCI, and the second PDSCH based at least in part on determining that the distances satisfy the minimum distance threshold. In some aspects, the UE may decode the first and second DCIs in an order that depends on DCI properties. Numerous other aspects are provided.

The UE operates within an active bandwidth part (BWP) of a component carrier, wherein the active BWP is a portion of a total bandwidth of the component carrier, determines a configuration for a dynamic channel state information (CSI) measurement gap, the dynamic CSI measurement gap including channel state information (CSI) measurement resources having a frequency domain occupation within the total bandwidth of the component carrier and outside of the active BWP, measures the CSI measurement resources included in the dynamic CSI measurement gap, and transmits a CSI report based on the measured CSI measurement resources.

One method for providing a wake-up signal to user equipments (UEs) that support multiple multicast sessions may include a base station transmitting configuration information to a UE indicating a wake-up signal configuration for one or more multicast sessions. Accordingly, the UE may monitor the one or more multicast sessions for a wake-up signal and receive, prior to an active duration of a multicast session, a wake-up signal from the base station. The wake-up signal may include control signaling indicating to the UE which of a set of multicast sessions the UE is to monitor. The UE receives from the network an indication of a maximum rank of an uplink from an interfering, aggressor UE. The UE measures interference of a signal from the aggressor UE, and based on the measurement, determines one or more rank values for the aggressor UE, less than or equal to the maximum rank. The UE may further determine one or more channel parameters for downlink transmissions the UE receives, corresponding to the determined rank values. The UE then transmits a channel state information (CSI) report that includes an indication of at least one of the one or more rank values for the aggressor UE. The CSI report may further include the determined channel parameters. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

Generally, a base station may send, and a user equipment (UE) may receive, a transmission beam adjustment message indicating a change from a first time interval to a second time interval in which a transmission beam is utilized to transmit a synchronization signal and physical broadcasting channel block (SSB). The base station may send the transmission beam adjustment message to all connected UEs, individual UEs affected by the adjustment, or to one or more UE groups. The UE may receive the transmission beam adjustment message and determine a new time interval of the transmission beam pattern that the base station is using the transmission beam to transmit the SSB. The UE may monitor the new time interval for the SSB using a receive beam that corresponds to the transmission beam.

Disclosed are techniques related to wireless communication system to enable full duplex communication. A network node is configured to communicate with a parent node and a child node. The network node may include a transceiver, a memory, and a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver and the memory. The transceiver, memory, and processor may be configured to determine uplink (UL) parent and child link priorities for parent and child time-domain resources that overlap in time at least partially. The transceiver, memory, and processor may also be configured to determine UL parent and child beams based on the UL parent and child link priorities. The transceiver, memory, and processor may further be configured to notify the parent node of the UL parent beam for the parent and child time-domain resources. The transceiver, memory, and processor may yet further be configured to concurrently transmit parent traffic to the parent node using the UL parent beam and receive child traffic from the child node using the UL child beam.
