An uninterruptible power apparatus is coupled between a power grid and a load. The uninterruptible power apparatus includes a bypass path, a power conversion module, and a control module. The bypass path is coupled to the power grid through a grid terminal, and coupled to the load through a load terminal. The control module turns off a first thyristor and a second thyristor by injecting a second voltage into the load terminal during a forced commutation period. The control module calculates a magnetic flux offset amount based on an error amount between the second voltage and a voltage command, and provides a compensation command in response to the magnetic flux offset amount. The control module controls the DC/AC conversion circuit to provide a third voltage to the load terminal based on the compensation command and the voltage command.

Uninterruptible power apparatus and magnetic flux compensation method thereof

An isolated converter with high boost ration includes a transformer, a first bridge arm, a second bridge arm, and a boost circuit. The transformer includes a secondary side having a secondary side first node and a secondary side second node. The first bridge arm includes a first diode and a second diode. The second bridge arm includes a third diode and a fourth diode. The boost circuit includes at least one fifth diode coupled between the first bridge arm and the secondary side second node, at least one sixth diode coupled between the second bridge arm and the secondary side first node, and at least two capacitors coupled to the secondary side first node and the secondary side second node.

Isolated converter with high boost ratio

An uninterruptible power apparatus with a function of forced disconnection path is coupled between a grid and a load, and the uninterruptible power apparatus includes a bypass path, a power conversion module, a current detection unit, and a control module. The bypass path includes a switch unit, and the power conversion module is connected in parallel to the bypass path. The current detection unit detects a current flowing through the bypass path and transmits a current signal to the control module. The control module provides a turned-off signal to the switch unit when a first voltage of the grid is abnormal, and transmits a polarity of the current signal. The power conversion module generates a compensation amount according to the polarity, and generates an output voltage command according to the compensation amount and a voltage at an input terminal or an output terminal of the power conversion module.

Uninterruptible power apparatus with function of forced disconnection path and method of forcing disconnection path thereof

A method for operating a power factor correction (PFC) circuit of an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) apparatus is provided. The PFC circuit includes two T-type converters, and each of the T-type converters includes four switching tubes. The method includes: converting AC input voltage into a positive bus voltage across a first capacitor and a negative bus voltage across a second capacitor that is connected in series with the first capacitor when the UPS apparatus is operated under a normal supply mode; and controlling conduction states of the switching tubes of the T-type converters to balance the positive bus voltage and the negative bus voltage when the UPS apparatus is operated under a battery supply mode.

Method for operating power factor correction circuit and method for operating uninterruptible power supply apparatus

An isolated boost converter includes a transformer, a first bridge arm, a second bridge arm, and a boost circuit. The transformer includes a secondary side having a secondary side first contact and a secondary side second contact. The boost circuit includes two diodes&#x2014;anodes of the two diodes are mutually coupled to a first contact and cathodes of the two diodes are coupled to a first bridge arm upper contact and a second bridge arm upper contact, two diodes&#x2014;cathodes of the two diodes are mutually coupled to a second contact and anodes of the two diodes are coupled to a first bridge arm lower contact and a second bridge arm lower contact, the second contact is coupled to the first contact, and at least two capacitors are coupled to the secondary side first contact and the secondary side second contact.

Isolated boost converter

A bidirectional power factor correction (PFC) module is coupled to an AC power source, an energy storage unit, and a DC bus. The bidirectional PFC module includes a bridge arm assembly and a control unit. The bridge arm assembly includes a first bridge arm, a first inductor, a second inductor, and a second bridge arm. The control unit provides a plurality of control signals to control the first bridge arm and the second bridge arm to make the bidirectional PFC module operate in an AC power supply mode, a DC power supply mode, or a power feed mode.

Bidirectional power factor correction module

A power bypass apparatus with a current-sharing function includes at least two bypass switch assemblies and a control unit. Each bypass switch assembly includes a controllable switch, a cooling unit, and a temperature detection unit. Each the temperature detection unit, correspondingly disposed to a heat-dissipating unit, detects a temperature value of the controllable switch to produce a temperature detection signal. The control unit receives the temperature detection signals and outputs at least two switch control signals to control at least one of the controllable switches or outputs at least two cooling unit control signals to control at least one of the cooling units, thus making currents flowing through the controllable switches identical. Accordingly, it is to increase overall efficiency of a power system and implement current-sharing function of the power system providing high power.

Power bypass apparatus with current-sharing function and method of controlling the same

An inverter apparatus with overcurrent protection control includes a first terminal of a DC input terminal connected to an AC output terminal through a first switch element and a second switch element, and a second terminal of the DC input terminal connected to the AC output terminal through a fourth switch element and a third switch element. An intermediate potential terminal is connected to a fifth switch element and a sixth switch element, and connected to the AC output terminal through the fifth switch element and the second switch element, and connected to the AC output terminal through the sixth switch element and the third switch element. When the control unit determines that the inverter apparatus is in an overcurrent state, the control unit controls a sequence of turning off the inverter apparatus to be the second switch element, the first switch element, and the sixth switch element.

Inverter apparatus with overcurrent protection control

A power converting device includes a first and a second power module electrically coupled in parallel, a loop current limiting circuit and a driving circuit. A first and a second terminal of the loop current limiting circuit are coupled to the first and the second power module respectively. A third and a fourth terminal of the loop current limiting circuit are coupled to each other. The loop current limiting circuit includes a coupled differential-mode inductor, a first inductive unit and a second inductive unit. A first winding and a second winding of the coupled differential-mode inductor are coupled to the first and the second power modules respectively. The first and the second inductive units are coupled to the first and the second power modules respectively. The driving circuit is configured to output a driving signal to the first and the second power module according to a current detecting signal.
