A display panel including a first substrate, a second substrate and a display medium is provided. The first substrate includes a base substrate, a gate, an active layer, a source, a drain, and a shielding structure. The gate is disposed on the base substrate. The active layer is electrically insulated from and disposed correspondingly to the gate. The source and the drain are electrically connected to the active layer. The shielding structure is disposed on the active layer and overlaps with at least part of the active layer. The shielding structure includes a metal layer and a metal oxide or metal nitride layer. The shielding structure is electrically insulated from the source. The display medium is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate.

Display panel

A touching display panel and a display device using the same are provided. The touching display panel includes a liquid crystal layer, a first substrate having a hard surface structure, a second substrate, a touch sensor layer, a thin-film transistor layer, and a color filter layer. The first and second substrates are respectively disposed at two sides of the liquid crystal layer. The touch sensor layer is disposed between the first substrate and the liquid crystal layer, and is formed on the first substrate. The thin-film transistor layer and the color filter layer are both disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. At least one of the thin-film transistor layer and the color filter layer is formed on the first substrate.

Touching display panel and display device using the same

A display panel including a first substrate, a second substrate and a display medium is provided. The first substrate includes a base substrate, a gate, an active layer, a source, a drain, and a shielding structure. The gate is disposed on the base substrate. The active layer is electrically insulated from and disposed correspondingly to the gate. The source and the drain are electrically connected to the active layer. The shielding structure is disposed on the active layer and covers at least part of the active layer. The shielding structure includes a metal layer and an anti-reflection structure. The display medium is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate.

A TFT touch display device includes a plurality of mutually vertical control lines and sensor lines and a plurality of TFTs. Each TFT is disposed at an intersection of one of the plurality of control line and one of the plurality of sensor line. The TFT is connected to a corresponding control line, a corresponding sensor line, and a power source. When there is an object approaching to the TFT, the TFT is turned on and a back-channel current is generated. A control unit is connected to the plurality of control lines to respectively provide a control signal to the plurality of control lines. A current sensing unit is connected to the plurality of sensor lines to respectively sense a current generated by the TFTs.
