The method includes following steps: providing an electromagnetic flowmeter including a measuring pipeline allowing a working fluid to flow through therein and a power supply module; defining a first explosion-proof hazardous area for containing the power supply module in the electromagnetic flowmeter; defining a second explosion-proof hazardous area for containing the measuring pipeline in the electromagnetic flowmeter; and separating the first explosion-proof hazardous area from the second explosion-proof hazardous area.

Method for measuring permittivity of material

A sensing apparatus includes a probe and a sensing module. The sensing module includes a material sensing circuit, an operation unit and a signal output circuit. The sensing module generates a frequency sweep signal and sends the frequency sweep signal to the probe to sense a status of a material. The frequency sweep signal is a plurality of signals having different frequencies from each other in a predetermined frequency range. When the frequency sweep signal touches the material, an equivalent capacitance of the material is utilized to generate a reflected signal. The material sensing circuit receives the reflected signal and sends the reflected signal to the operation unit. The operation unit operates the reflected signal to generate a waveform signal to determine the status of the material. The operation unit utilizes an impedance spectrum to determine the status of the material.

A cable-base sensor can detect a material level and temperatures of a material stored in a silo. The cable-base sensor comprises an electronic box, a cable, a stopper, and a signal processing module. The electronic box comprises a base and a space for containing the signal processing module, and a hole is formed through a bottom of the electronic box. The base is mounted in the bottom, and a tapered hole is formed through the base. A first end of the cable extents into the tapered hole and the hole, and spreads to form a cable bud. The stopper is a tapered block and pressed into the tapered hole for enforcing the cable bud to be sandwiched between the stopper and the base. The cable bud strengthens a connection between the electronic box and the cable for preventing damages from solid materials.

Conveying apparatus

A level measuring device with an integratable lens has a radar level meter and an angle adjusting assembly. The radar level meter has a horn antenna and a lens antenna assembly mounted on a signal transceiving end of the radar level meter. The lens antenna assembly has a housing and a lens antenna. The housing is hollow and receives the horn antenna therein. One end of the housing is connected to the lens antenna, and the other end of the housing is connected to the signal transceiving end of the radar level meter. The angle adjustment assembly is mounted around the housing. As the lens antenna assembly covers the horn antenna, the horn antenna is less likely to be damaged. Additionally, the housing of the lens antenna assembly is connected with the angle adjusting assembly for angle adjustment of the combined horn antenna and lens antenna assembly.

An FMCW radar level meter has an RF signal processing module, an intermediate frequency (IF) signal processing module, and a computation and display module. A signal generator of the RF signal processing module generates a first RF signal, which is radiated by an antenna to a measured object. The antenna received a second RF signal reflected by the measured object. The IF signal processing module processes the second RF signal and compares the first RF signal with the second RF signal. The computation and display module calculates and displays a distance between the FMCW radar level meter and the measured object. Using the RF signal processing module and the IF signal processing module to process the second RF signal, the issues of noise and temperature coefficient shift can be resolved.

Frequency modulation continuous wave radar level meter and signal-tracking and phase-locking method for the same

A sealing device of a level meter is acid-and-alkali-resistant and pressure-resistant, and has a flexible outer tube, a plug, a female union connector and a male union connector. The flexible outer tube has an expansion neck formed on a bottom end thereof. The plug is mounted in the expansion neck. The female union connector is mounted around the expansion neck. The male union connector engages the female union connector by means of threaded engagement. The male union connector has a through hole for tying a weight such that the flexible outer tube is stretched along a force of a gravitational force of the weight. As being wholly and uniformly subjected to the gravitational force of the weight, the male union connector is less damage-prone. Accordingly, the tensile strength of the level meter is effectively increased, and a life duration of the level meter therefore prolongs.
