The present disclosure discloses a high speed optical module having a PCBA component and a passive optical element. The PCBA component includes a receiver and a transmitter. The transmitter includes an amplifier chip and a photodiode array connected to pins of the amplifier chip. The transmitter includes a laser driving chip and a base. Multiple lasers are arranged side by side in the base. The lasers are connected to the laser driving chip. A plurality of fiber interfaces are arranged on output light paths corresponding to the plurality of lasers. The passive optical element includes ferrules corresponding to the plurality of fiber interfaces, and the ferrules are correspondingly inserted into the plurality of fiber interfaces in a one-to-one relationship. The passive optical element is inserted into the PCBA component by fiber interfaces arranged on the PCBA component.

High speed optical transceiver module

The present disclosure provides a multi-channel parallel optical transceiver module. The disclosed optical transceiver module/device may include a shell body and a circuit board located in the shell body, and an optical emitter base soldered to a first end of the circuit board. A notch located on the base, for engaging the first end of the circuit board, and the optical emitter base engaged with the first end of the circuit board may be soldered to two sides of the circuit board. The optical emitters may be disposed in parallel on the base, and separated from each other by a block. A lens and a laser may be disposed at a first side of each of the optical emitters that is adjacent to the circuit board, and an optical monitor may be disposed on a second end of the circuit board adjacent to the laser.

Multi-channel parallel optical transceiver module

A multi-channel laser device with a fiber array includes a housing and a ferrule. In the housing, laser components are arranged side by side, and each of the laser components is connected to a fiber array module through an optical isolator. The fiber array module includes thermal expanded fibers, and fibers out of the fiber array module are collected by the ferrule. The laser components are disposed on the same module board, and laser light radiated from the front end of a laser chip in each of the laser components is projected onto the optical isolator through a convex lens and then enters into the thermal expanded fiber. Such a structure may reach a relatively-high coupling efficiency and implement the coupling of arrayed laser components.

Multi-channel laser device with fiber array

A light emission module includes a base, a laser diode driver, a laser diode and a monitor photodiode. The laser diode driver, the laser diode and the monitor photodiode are disposed on the base. The monitor photodiode and the laser diode are located close to a front end of the laser diode driver. A rear side of the laser diode facing the front end of the laser diode driver. A end surface at the front end of the laser diode driver, a side surface at the rear side of the laser diode and a light receiving surface of the monitor photodiode are arranged in a triangle shape for reflecting a light emitted from the rear side of the laser diode to the light receiving surface of the monitor photodiode by the end surface of the laser diode driver.

Light emission module

A light emission module includes a base, a laser diode driver, a laser diode, a monitor photodiode and a reflecting mirror. The laser diode driver, the laser diode and the monitor photodiode are disposed on the base. The monitor photodiode and the laser diode are located close to a front end of the laser diode driver. A rear side of the laser diode faces the laser diode driver. The reflecting mirror is disposed between the rear side of the laser diode and the monitor photodiode for reflecting a light emitted from the rear side of the laser diode to a light receiving surface of the monitor photodiode.

A pluggable optical transceiver module for being plugged in a housing is provided. The housing has a cover and an elastic piece, and the cover has an accommodating space. One end of the elastic piece is connected to the cover while the other end has a first fastening portion. The first fastening portion is located on one side of the accommodating space. The pluggable optical transceiver module comprises a base and a sliding member. The base comprises a base body and a second fastening portion. The base body has a guide surface, and the second fastening portion is next to the guide surface. The base is for being plugged in the accommodating space, and the second fastening portion is fastened with the first fastening portion. The sliding member comprises a body section and a push section connected to each other. The body section is slidably disposed on the base.

Pluggable optical transceiver module

An optical transmitter-receiver assembly includes an optical transmitter-receiver device coupled via first optical fiber to optical splitter, plurality of second optical fibers each having a first end and a second end. The first ends is coupled to the optical splitter, the second ends are respectively coupled to plurality of optical connectors. The optical transmitter-receiver device includes main body and rubber sleeve. Space in the main body is divided into top portion and bottom portion by partition. Receiver is disposed in the top portion and coupled via fiber array to the first optical fiber. The receiver coupled via amplifier to flexible circuit board. Plurality of coaxial lasers is disposed in the bottom portion. Each of the plurality of coaxial lasers has an emitting end coupled to the first fiber, and the plurality of coaxial lasers coupled via inflexible circuit board to flexible circuit board.

Multi-channel optical transmitter-receiver assembly

A pluggable optical transceiver module for inserted into plugging slot includes main body and sliding component. The main body has opposite two side surfaces and two sliding slots. The two sliding slots are located at the two side surfaces. The sliding component includes linkage arm and two extending arms. The two extending arms are connected to the linkage arm. Each extending arm has a second fastening part. The main body is between the two extending arms. The two extending arms are disposed on the two sliding slots to have fastening position and releasing position. Two first fastening parts are fastened to the two second fastening parts when the two extending arms are located at fastening position. The two second fastening parts press the two first fastening parts, respectively, for the two first fastening parts being farther from each other when the two extending arms are located at releasing position.

An optical coupling element, for coupling a light emitting element to a light transmission element, includes a light guide element. The light guide element has a light incident part, a total reflection surface and a light output part. The light incident path is formed at the light incident part corresponding to the light emitting element. The light reflection path is formed at the light output part corresponding to the light transmission element. The first included angle &#x3b8;is formed between the light incident path and the total reflection surface and is not equal to 45 degrees. The light emitting element is adapted to emit a beam toward the total reflection surface along the light incident path by passing through the light guide element from the light incident part. Moreover, the beam is reflected by the total reflection surface and is outputted toward the light transmission element.

Optical coupling element and optical module having the same

A modulated optical system with cross-modulation compensation reduces or corrects cross-modulation that might occur at a target frequency range in a multichannel RF signal that modulates a laser. The system detects the cross-modulation, for example, by detecting an envelope of the RF signal or by detecting RF power fluctuations, generates a cross-modulation detection signal, filters the cross-modulation detection signal at the target frequency range, and imparts a compensating cross-modulation to the RF signal in response to the filtered cross-modulation detection signal.
