The present disclosure provides a photochromic thermal insulation fiber including a core layer and a sheath layer covering the core layer. The core layer includes about 99 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of polypropylene and about 0.4 parts by weight to 0.6 parts by weight of a photochromic dye. The sheath layer includes about 98 parts by weight to 99 parts by weight of nylon and about 1 part by weight to 2 parts by weight of a near-infrared reflecting dye.

Photochromic thermal insulation fiber and manufacturing method thereof

A temperature-sensing and humidity-controlling fiber includes a hydrophilic material and a temperature-sensing material. The temperature-sensing material has a lower critical solution temperature (LCST) between 31.2° C. and 32.5° C. when a light transmittance thereof is in a range from 3% to 80%, in which a wavelength of the light is between 450 nm and 550 nm.

An infrared reflecting fiber includes 76.0 parts by weight to 88.5 parts by weight of a carrier, 1.8 parts by weight to 4.0 parts by weight of an infrared reflecting composition, 2.5 parts by weight to 7.5 parts by weight of a titanium dioxide containing composition, and 6.0 parts by weight to 16.0 parts by weight of a color adjusting composition. The carrier includes polyethylene terephthalate (PET). When a content of 5.0 wt % to 7.5 wt % of the infrared reflecting composition and a balance of the carrier are mixed together to form a first fiber, a maximum infrared reflectivity of the first fiber is between 61% and 70%.

Infrared reflecting fiber and fabricating method thereof

An intrinsic fluorescent green fiber includes 98.00 to 99.00 parts by weight of a carrier, 0.10 to 0.20 parts by weight of a yellow colorant, 0.08 to 0.20 parts by weight of a blue colorant, and 1.00 to 1.50 parts by weight of a titanium dioxide. When a content of 0.10 wt % to 0.20 wt % of the yellow colorant and a balance of the carrier are mixed to form a yellow fiber, the L*, a*, and b* values of the yellow fiber are respectively between 101.27 and 101.72, between &#x2212;17.61 and &#x2212;13.47, and between 89.84 and 108.79. When a content of 0.08 wt % to 0.20 wt % of the blue colorant and a balance of the carrier are mixed to form a blue fiber, the L*, a*, and b* values of the blue fiber are respectively between 55.60 and 66.80, between &#x2212;22.69 and &#x2212;22.70, and between &#x2212;37.50 and &#x2212;31.80.

Intrinsic fluorescent green fiber and manufacturing method thereof

A modified nylon 66 fiber including a first repeating unit derived from adipic acid and hexamethylenediamine, a second monomer unit derived from a diacid or a diamine having a long carbon chain, a third monomer unit derived from a diacid or a diamine having a aromatic ring, and a fourth monomer unit derived from a cyclic diacid or a cyclic diamine is provided. The second monomer unit has 6 to 36 carbon atoms. The third monomer unit has 8 to 14 carbon atoms. The fourth monomer unit has 6 to 10 carbon atoms. Based on a total weight of the modified nylon 66 fiber, a content of the first repeating unit is 78 wt % to 94.8 wt %, a content of the second monomer unit is 0.1 wt % to 1 wt %, a content of the third monomer unit is 5 wt % to 20 wt %, a content of the fourth monomer unit is 0.1 wt % to 1 wt %.

Modified nylon 66 fiber

A synthetic fiber including core and sheath is provided. The sheath covers the core and includes a plurality of segment portions and a plurality of sacrificial portions. The plurality of sacrificial portions are connected to the plurality of segment portions, where the plurality of segment portions and the plurality of sacrificial portions are arranged alternately to each other on an outer surface of the core, and the material of the plurality of segment portions is different with that of the plurality of sacrificial portions.

Synthetic fiber

Disclosed herein is a thermoplastic cellulosic composition for preparing a cellulose-based masterbatch and/or a cellulose-based fiber with a networked structure. In one example, the thermoplastic cellulosic composition includes an esterified cellulose present in a range of about 80 wt % to about 95 wt %, polyethylene glycol present in a range of about 4.5 wt % to about 12 wt %, a tri-functional cross-linking agent present in a range of about 0.01 wt % to about 3 wt %, an initiator present in a range of about 0.01 wt % to about 0.15 wt %, and a dispersing agent present in a range of about 0.01 wt % to about 5 wt %.

Cellulose-based masterbatch with networked structure, application thereof and method for preparing the same
