This invention discloses a system, device and method for transmitting both non-video signals and video signals between different communication interfaces. The system includes a first communication interface, a buffer module, a second communication interface, and an emulator module. The first communication interface is coupled to an electronic device, for transmitting a first differential signal and a first auxiliary signal. The buffer module is coupled to the first communication interface. The second communication interface is coupled to the buffer module, for transmitting a second differential signal. The emulator module is coupled to the second communication interface via a hub. The emulator module receives a second auxiliary signal. Data exchange for the first auxiliary signal and the second auxiliary signal is performed via the second communication interface between the buffer module and the emulator module.

System, device and method for transmitting signals between different communication interfaces

A signal extender system including a first electronic apparatus, a second electronic apparatus, and a signal extender. The signal extender system includes a transmission module, a receiving module, and pairs of differential transmission lines. The receiving module includes a timing memory unit. The transmission module receives a digital image differential signal including differential data signals, a differential timing signal, and a two-way differential signal. A first pair of differential transmission lines, a second pair of differential transmission lines, and a third pair of differential transmission lines of the pairs of differential transmission lines transmit the differential data signals respectively. A fourth pair of differential transmission lines alternately transmits the two-way differential signal and a part of differential timing signal. The timing memory unit memories and continually replicates the part of differential timing signal to recover the differential timing signal and output it to the second electronic apparatus.

Signal extender system and signal extender thereof

A switch device that allows a user to use the same non-Bluetooth user console (e.g., keyboard, mouse) to control both non-Bluetooth computers and Bluetooth master machines such as tablet computers, smart phones, etc. The switch device includes a console port for connecting to the console and one or more computer ports for connecting to one or more computers, as well as a Bluetooth module for communicating with Bluetooth master machines. A controller processes input device data received via the console port, and either sends the data to a selected Bluetooth master machine or a selected computer, or perform other functions such as switching, Bluetooth device pairing and disconnecting based on the input device data. The controller stores link information of the Bluetooth master machines already paired with the computer switch for quickly switching to a Bluetooth master machine. The switch device can be with or without video switching.

KVM switch with embedded bluetooth module

A desktop sharing and remote control system where the server (the computer being controlled) and the client (the computer controlling the server) are connected by a connecting device using the USB protocol. The connecting device includes a control unit (MCU) and two USB controllers. The MCU transfers data between the two USB controllers. The server-side USB controller emulates a USB CD-ROM/keyboard/mouse composite device; the client-side USB controller emulates a USB CD-ROM. The server continuously writes video data (desktop image) to the server-side emulated CD-ROM and the client continuously reads the data from the client-side emulated CD-ROM and applies it to its monitor. Keyboard and mouse data is transferred in the opposite direction via the client-side emulated CD-ROM and server-side emulated keyboard and mouse devices. The connecting device stores applications programs to be automatically executed by the server and client using auto-run functions of the emulated CD-ROMs to accomplish plug-and-play.

Remote desktop control system using USB interface and method thereof

A desktop sharing and remote control system where the server (the controlled computer) and the client (the controlling computer) are connected by a USB cable. Either the server or the client includes a connecting section, which includes a control unit (MCU) and two USB controllers. The MCU transfers data between the two USB controllers. A signal switch for sharing a video monitor, a plurality of console devices compliant with an industry standard and one or more than one peripheral device in any of a plurality of computer systems, is provided. A KVM switch allows all the computers connected to the switch to share any USB peripheral devices, and which can switch the KVM channels and peripheral channels to a common computer or to different computers either asynchronously or synchronously without interruption of data flow to that peripheral when the switch is changed. In another embodiment the KVM switch allows a keyboard and a mouse of a user console to separately control two different computers. In another embodiment, the KVM switch is connected to the computers via computer connection modules and connected to a user console and peripheral devices via a console connection module.

A method for switching KVM switch ports comprising a plurality of computer ports and a related device are provided. A behavior of a mouse coupled to the KVM switch is detected. The behavior comprises multiple click on a specific button of the mouse. In response to the behavior, the computer ports are switched accordingly.

A Keyboard-Video-Mouse (KVM) switch is provided for a set of user interface devices to share a plurality of computers. The Keyboard-Video-Mouse (KVM) switch comprises a network port, a second interface, at least one first interface, a switch device and an Ethernet hub. The network port is arranged to connect to a network. The second interface is arranged to connect the set of user interface devices. The first interface is arranged to connect the computers, and the first interface has a port for connecting a network interface of the computers. The switch device is arranged to route paths between the second interface and the first interface. The Ethernet hub is arranged to connect the network port and the port of the first interface.

KVM switch with an integrated network hub

A USB device using one USB device controller to simulate multiple virtual USB devices with a virtual USB hub is described. The USB device controller is assigned a USB address and communicates with the USB host under the control of an MCU and its firmware. The USB device also includes a CPLD (or FPGA or ASIC) and an analog switch for filtering the USB packets from the host and replacing the address in the packet by a fixed address before sending the packet to the USB device controller. The address in the original packet is stored in the CPLD and accessible by the MCU. The MCU controls the USB device controller to simulate one or more USB hubs and multiple USB devices.
