A stereoscopic display system including a display apparatus and an image guiding plate is provided. The display apparatus provides diverge images. The display apparatus includes a plurality of stereoscopic display unit groups. Each of the stereoscopic display unit groups includes at least one stereoscopic display unit. Each of the stereoscopic display units includes a plurality of pixel groups. In each of the stereoscopic display units, the pixel groups provide a plurality of image beams corresponding to parts of the diverge images. Different stereoscopic display units correspond to different parts of the diverge images. The image guiding plate is disposed on a transmission path of the image beams. The image guiding plate includes a plurality of optical structures arranged periodically, so as to respectively guide the image beams to a plurality of directions. Furthermore, an image display method of the foregoing stereoscopic display system is provided.

Stereoscopic display system and image display method thereof

A display apparatus including a display module, a variable parallax barrier module, and a control unit is provided. The display module is configured to provide a light beam. The variable parallax barrier module is disposed on a transmission path of the light beam. The variable parallax barrier module respectively forms a plurality of different parallax barrier patterns during different display periods of a frame time. Each of the parallax barrier patterns includes a plurality of light-transmissive regions and a plurality of light-shielding regions alternately arranged along an arrangement direction. In all of light-transmissive regions of the parallax barrier patterns, any two adjacent light-transmissive regions partially overlap each other. The control unit enables a plurality of display images displayed by the display module during the different display periods to respectively correspond to the parallax barrier patterns. A variable parallax barrier module and a displaying method are also provided.

Display apparatus, variable parallax barrier module, and display method

A head mount personal computer (HMPC) and an interactive system using the same are provided. The provided HMPC includes a microprocessing unit, an output unit and an image capture unit with a distance detection function (ICWDD). The microprocessing unit is served as an operation core of the HMPC. The output unit is coupled to and controlled by the microprocessing unit, and configured to project an optical image onto a space. The ICWDD is coupled to and controlled by the microprocessing unit, and configured to capture operation gestures on the projected optical image from a user wearing the HMPC, such that the microprocessing unit correspondingly controls operations of the HMPC in response to the operation gestures on the projected optical image from the user.

Head mount personal computer and interactive system using the same

A stereo display system including a plurality of projection apparatuses and a screen module is provided. The projection apparatuses project a plurality of image beams. The screen module is disposed in front of the projection apparatuses, wherein the image beams are transmitted toward the screen module. The screen module includes a light diffusion layer and a beam splitting layer. The light diffusion layer has at least one diffusion direction, and the light diffusion layer diffuses the image beams with a diffusion angle. The light diffusion layer is disposed between the beam splitting layer and the projection apparatuses, wherein each of the image beams is divided into a plurality of sub image beams by the beam splitting layer. The sub image beams of each image beam transmit with different angles, such that the image beams form a plurality of stereo image viewing zones after passing through the screen module.

Stereo display system

A stereo-image displaying apparatus includes a light-source module and an image displaying device. The light-source module has at least one light-emitting block. A light-source driving unit is coupled with the light-source module and the image displaying device. The light-emitting block is driven by the light-source driving unit to synchronously emit a light according to a displaying frequency of the image displaying device with a reduced light-emitting duty cycle. The cross-talk between stereo images is reduced by using the light emitted from the light-source module, synchronously associating with the image displaying device.

Stereo-image displaying apparatus and method for reducing stereo-image cross-talk

A hybrid multiplexed 3D display and a displaying method thereof. The hybrid multiplexed 3D display includes an image display, a light source and an image splitter. The image display generates a view image. The light source sequentially generates light of multiple colors transmitted through the image display. The image splitter disposed above or below the image display causes image data, which is generated after the light is transmitted through the image display, to emit toward two or more than two view directions. Thus, the image viewed by a user has at least two views to achieve a stereoscopic visual effect.

Hybrid multiplexed 3D display and displaying method thereof

A miniaturized imaging module, a 3D display system using the same and an image arrangement method are disclosed. The 3D display system includes a plurality of multi-viewing zone miniaturized imaging modules and an image output module. The image output module is for editing, adjusting and distributing a multi-viewing zone image to the multi-viewing zone miniaturized imaging modules for display. Each multi-viewing zone miniaturized imaging module includes a housing, a projection unit and a viewing zone modulating screen. The projection unit and the viewing zone modulating screen are respectively disposed on two opposite sides inside the housing. In each multi-viewing zone miniaturized imaging module, the projection unit projects an image onto respective viewing zone modulating screen, and forms a plurality of viewing zones in front of the viewing zone modulating screen, wherein the image is a segmented image of an image composed of a plurality of images having different view-angles.

Miniaturized imaging module, 3D display system using the same and image arrangement method thereof

A stereoscopic image display including an image displaying unit and an optical grating is provided. The image displaying unit has a black matrix and pixels surround by the black matrix, and each pixel has a width P in a first direction. The optical grating is disposed corresponding to the image displaying unit, wherein the optical grating comprises a plurality of constitutional groups arranged in the first direction. Each of constitutional groups comprises a plurality of slits having the same width W to expose the corresponding pixels, the width P of pixel and the width W of slit satisfy a specific relationship, so as to reduce the morie phenomenon and provide excellent stereo image quality.

Stereoscopic image display having particular optical grating

A method for manufacturing a stereoscopic display module including following steps is provided. A display module is provided. A first retardation film is attached on the display module with a heat-resisting adhesive layer. After attaching the first retardation film on the display module with the heat-resisting adhesive layer, a partial region of the first retardation film is heated to vanish a phase retardation property. The partial region includes a plurality of sub-regions spaced at intervals. A stereoscopic display module and a manufacturing system thereof are also provided.

Stereoscopic display module, method for manufacturing the same and manufacturing system thereof

A projection autostereoscopic display including an image projector and a stereo screen is provided. The image projector projects an image. The image includes multiple viewing-zone images. The stereo screen receives the image and reflects the image to an observing direction. The stereo screen includes a linear polarizer layer, for receiving and polarizing the image. A first microretarder layer is disposed behind the linear polarizer layer. A second microretarder layer is disposed behind the first microretarder layer by a distance. A reflection-type polarization-reserved diffuser layer is disposed behind the second microretarder layer for reflecting and diffusing the image into various directions while maintaining the polarization state of the image. A switching layer is switched between a transparent state which maintains the polarization state of the image and an opaque state which changes the polarization states of the image to a non-polarization state, to switch between 2D and 3D display modes.

Projection autostereoscopic display and stereo screen

A stereo-image displaying apparatus including an adjustable light source module, a spatial modulator, and an image display panel is provided. The adjustable light source module is adapted for emitting a plurality of first illumination beams and a plurality of second illumination beams that are staggered along a first axis. The spatial modulator and the image display panel are sequentially disposed on the light path of the first and second illumination beams. The first illumination beam passes through the spatial modulator so that the image display panel displays a first view field image in a first frame period. The second illumination beam passes through the spatial modulator so that the image display panel displays a second view field image in a second frame period. Moreover, a method for reducing stereo-image cross-talk is also provided.

A stereoscopic image display apparatus having a function for tracking at least one observer is provided. The stereoscopic image display apparatus includes a detection and calculation module and a display unit. The detection and calculation module detects the position of the observer to configure N views of a displayed image corresponding to two eyes of the observer, and outputs a control information, wherein N&#x2267;4. The display unit receives the control information and generates N view images corresponding to the N views. Each eye of the observer receives at least two view images, and the two eyes respectively receive multiple view images in different views.

Stereoscopic image display apparatus

A three-dimensional image display device including a polarized light module, a non-vertical polarized light barrier grating unit and an image display unit is provided. The polarized light module provides a polarized light. The non-vertical polarized light barrier grating unit is disposed in a light path of the polarized light to modulate the polarized light into a modulated polarized light in interlaced lines for output. The image display unit receives the modulated polarized light from the non-vertical polarized light barrier grating unit, and outputs two or more images with parallax.

Three-dimensional image display apparatus

Systems for thermal patterning are presented. The system includes a thermal print head module. The thermal print head module includes at least one point heater. An elastic adjustable device is used for adjusting the flatness of the thermal print head module. A rotation adjustable device is used for controlling the thermal print head module to rotate with a predetermined angle.

Systems for thermal patterning

A stereo image display, switching between a first display direction and a second display direction, includes a polarized light module for providing a polarized light. A first light grating unit is implemented on the light path of the polarized light. When the first light grating unit is activated, the polarized light is modulated to output light in every two column; and when it is turned off, all the polarized light substantially passes. A second grating unit is implemented on the light path of the polarized light. When the second light grating unit is activated, the polarized light is modulated to output light in every two row; and when it is turned off, all the polarized light substantially passes. By the light passing the light grating units, an image displaying unit displays a first image at odd columns or rows and a second image at even columns or rows.
