An evaporation apparatus including a material source, a chamber, a passageway, and a heating component is provided. The material source is configured to provide a deposition material. The chamber includes a manifold. The passageway is configured to be connected to the material source and the manifold. The heating component is disposed in at least a portion of the passageway and configured to heat the deposition material. A calibration method of the evaporation apparatus is also provided.

Evaporation apparatus and calibration method thereof

A roller assembly for transporting a substrate includes a step roller and a plurality of first auxiliary rollers. The step roller includes a main roller, and a pair of edge rollers sleeved on the main roller and located on two opposite ends of the main roller, respectively. The plurality of first auxiliary rollers are disposed on two opposite sides of the step roller, respectively. A first film forms a closed loop through the first film being rolled on the plurality of first auxiliary rollers and the step roller cyclically. A method using the same is also provided.

Roller assembly and method for transporting a substrate using the same

A film thickness monitoring system is provided. The film thickness monitoring system includes a source, a valve, and a chamber. The source is configured to provide a deposition material. The valve is connected to the source. The chamber includes a manifold, a quartz crystal microbalance, and a pressure sensor. The manifold is connected to the valve and has at least one first nozzle and at least one second nozzle. The quartz crystal microbalance is disposed opposite to the at least one second nozzle. The deposition material is adapted to be deposited on the quartz crystal microbalance through the at least one second nozzle, and the quartz crystal microbalance includes a shutter facing the at least one second nozzle. The pressure sensor is disposed in the manifold. A method for monitoring a film thickness deposition process is also provided.

Film thickness monitoring system and method using the same

An illumination device includes a substrate, a light emitting structure, a sealant, and a laminating board is provided. The light emitting structure includes a first electrode layer, a light emitting layer and a second electrode layer stacked on the substrate sequentially. The sealant covers the light emitting structure. The laminating board is attached to the substrate. The sealant is located between the laminating board and the substrate. The laminating board includes a carrier body, a metal layer and a plurality of pads. The metal layer is exposed at a first surface of the carrier body, is in contact with the sealant and shields an area of the light emitting layer of the light emitting structure. The pads are exposed at the first surface of the carrier body and electrically connected to the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer. The metal layer is electrically isolated from the pads.

Illumination device and method of fabricating an illumination device

A method for fabricating an organic electro-luminescence device, comprising: forming a first conductive layer comprising a first electrode and a contact pattern on a substrate; forming a first mask on the first conductive layer, the first mask comprising an opening for exposing a portion of the first electrode and a portion of the contact pattern; forming a patterned organic functional layer by shielding of a second mask, the patterned organic functional layer covering the first mask and the first electrode exposed by the first mask, and the second mask being disposed over the first mask to shield the portion of the contact pattern exposed by the opening; forming a second conductive layer and patterning the second conductive layer by removing the first mask and a portion of the second conductive layer on the first mask to form a second electrode electrically connected to the contact pattern.

Methods for fabricating an organic electro-luminescence device and flexible electric device

A roller assembly for transporting a substrate includes a step roller, a first transport roller, and a second transport roller. The step roller includes a main roller, an air cylinder, and a pair of edge rollers. The air cylinder is sleeved on the main roller, and includes a plurality of air jetting holes and a plurality of air suction holes. The edge rollers are disposed on the main roller and are located on opposite ends of the air cylinder. The first transport roller and the second transport roller are disposed on opposite sides of the step roller, wherein the substrate is transported from the first transport roller to the second transport roller through the step roller. A method using the same is also provided.

A method for fabricating an organic electro-luminescence device, including: on a substrate, forming a first conductive layer including a first electrode and a first contact pattern electrically insulated therefrom; on the first conductive layer, forming a first mask including a release film, a base film disposed between the release film and the first conductive layer and an opening for partially exposing the first electrode and the first contact pattern; by shielding of a second mask, forming a patterned organic functional layer partially covering the first mask and the first electrode exposed by the first mask; removing the second mask; forming a second conductive layer over the structure aforesaid; and patterning the second conductive layer by removing the release film and the second conductive layer formed thereon to form a second electrode electrically connected to the first contact pattern and a second contact pattern electrically connected to the first electrode.

A method for fabricating an organic electro-luminescence device, comprising: forming a first conductive layer comprising a first electrode and a contact pattern on a substrate; foil ling a first mask on the first conductive layer, the first mask comprising an opening for exposing a portion of the first electrode and a portion of the contact pattern; forming a patterned organic functional layer by shielding of a second mask, the patterned organic functional layer covering the first mask and the first electrode exposed by the first mask, and the second mask being disposed over the first mask to shield the portion of the contact pattern exposed by the opening; forming a second conductive layer and patterning the second conductive layer by removing the first mask and a portion of the second conductive layer on the first mask to form a second electrode electrically connected to the contact pattern.

Methods for fabricating an organic electro-luminescence device

A pixel unit of an electrochromic display panel and a driving method thereof are described. The pixel unit includes a first substrate; a first electrode and a second electrode, on the first substrate; a first auxiliary counter electrode, on the first substrate and disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode; a first electrochromic material, on the first electrode; a second electrochromic material, on the second electrode; a second substrate, opposite to the first substrate; a third electrode, on the second substrate; a third electrochromic material, on the third electrode; and an electrolyte layer, between the first substrate and the second substrate.

Pixel unit of electrochromic display panel and driving method thereof

Fabrication methods for electronic devices with via through holes and thin film transistor devices are presented. The fabrication method the electronic device includes providing a substrate, forming a patterned lower electrode on the substrate, and forming a photosensitive insulating layer on the substrate covering the patterned lower electrode. A patterned optical shielding layer is applied on the photosensitive insulating layer. Exposure procedure is performed curing the exposed photosensitive insulating layer. The optical shielding layer and the underlying photosensitive insulating layer are sequentially removed, thereby forming an opening. A patterned upper electrode is formed on the photosensitive insulating layer filling the opening to create a conductive via hole.

Fabrication methods for electronic devices with via through holes and thin film transistor devices

An operating process of an organic device includes performing a programming process and an erasing process. The programming process includes steps of applying a first positive bias from the first electrode to the second electrode on the organic device so that a conductive state of the organic device is switched to be a first turn-on state when the organic device is in a turn-off state and applying a negative bias from the first electrode to the second electrode on the organic device so that the conductive state of the organic device is switched to be a second turn-on state when the organic device is in the first turn-on state. The erasing process includes a step of applying a second positive bias from the first electrode to the second electrode on the organic device so that the conductive state of the organic device is switched to be the turn-off state.

Operating process of organic device

A transistor-type pressure sensor is provided, having an upper and a lower substrates, a source/drain formed on the lower substrate and separated from each other, a channel layer formed between and on the source/drain, a dielectric layer and a gate. The gate is substantially formed between the source and the drain. The surface of the gate, being in contact with the dielectric layer, has a stepped surface profile, so that the channel length/width ratio can be changed due to the pressure sensed by the pressure sensor.

Transistor-type pressure sensor and method for fabricating the same

A micro device and manufacturing method thereof. The micro device includes a substrate, an insulation layer, and a solution. The insulation layer is disposed on the substrate to define a channel portion and an extension portion communicated with the channel portion. The solution is location in the channel portion. Part of the solution flows to the extension portion by capillary force between the channel portion and the extension portion.
