A cursor control method, for moving a cursor on a first displayed image and a second displayed image, comprising: (a) receiving a first displacement value when the cursor is within a first region of the first displayed image and receiving a second displacement value when the cursor is within a second region of the first displayed image; (b) moving the cursor with a first moving value on the first displayed image, which is obtained from the first displacement value and a first ratio; and (d) moving the cursor with a second moving value on the second displayed image, which is obtained from the second displacement value and a second ratio; wherein the first ratio is different from the second ratio; wherein the second displayed image is a zoom out and partial image of the first displayed image. By this way, the cursor movement accuracy can be increased.

There is provided a cleaning robot system including a charging station and a cleaning robot. The charging station includes multiple positioning beacons. The cleaning robot includes an image sensor and a processor. The image sensor is used to acquire light generated by the multiple positioning beacons on the charging station and generate an image frame. The processor is electrically connected to the image sensor, and used to calculate a relative position with respect to the charging station according to beacon images of the multiple positioning beacons in the image frame to determine a recharge path accordingly.

A movement detection method, applied to a navigation input device with a navigation pattern comprising a center pattern and a radial pattern. The movement detection method comprises: (a) capturing a sensing image comprising a center pattern image and at least portion of a radial pattern image by an image sensor, wherein the center pattern image corresponds to the center pattern and the radial pattern image corresponding to the radial pattern; (b) computing a translation of the navigation input device according to shift of the center pattern image; and (c) computing a rotation angle of the navigation input device according to a first pattern relation between the center pattern image and a first portion of the radial pattern image. The translation and the rotation angle can be precisely and sensitively detected even if the joystick device is miniaturized, since the translation and the rotation angle are computed according to the navigation pattern.

A pressure detection device of detecting a forced state of a deformable object includes a body, an image sensor and a processor. The body is a deformable hollow structure. The body has an inner surface and an outer surface, and an identifiable vision feature is disposed on the inner surface. The image sensor is disposed inside the body and faces the inner surface of the body, and is adapted to capture a frame containing the identifiable vision feature on the inner surface. The processor is electrically connected with the image sensor, and adapted to analyze position variation of the identifiable vision feature within the captured frame for identifying a motion type of a gesture applied to the outer surface of the body.

An image identification method is used to eliminate accumulated error of operation of a joystick. The joystick has an optical sensor adapted to analyze a movement of a plurality of identification dots disposed on a stick body. The image identification method includes receiving a series of detection images, setting a first identification dot of the plurality of identification dots as being a reference identification dot, and setting a second identification dot of the plurality of identification dos as being the reference identification dot and cancelling the first identification dot as being the reference identification dot when the first identification dot is near a border of the detection image. A position change of the reference identification dot in the series of detection images is used for identifying a control status of the joystick.

A joystick includes a casing, a stick body, an identification mark and an optical sensor. The casing has a hole. The stick body is movably disposed on the casing. The stick body has a first section and a second section. The first section penetrates through the hole to protrude from the casing, and the second section is inside the casing. The identification mark is disposed on the second section of the stick body. The identification includes a first line group and a second line group crossed to each other. The first line group and the second line group respectively has a plurality of lines with different widths and arranged adjacent to each other. The optical sensor is disposed inside the casing and adapted to acquire an identification image containing the identification mark to determine a gesture of the stick body.

A joystick includes a casing, a stick body and an optical sensor. The casing has a hole. The stick body is movably disposed on the casing via the hole. The stick body includes a pressing portion, an indication portion and an identification pattern. The indication portion is connected to the pressing portion and inserts into the hole. A sunken structure is formed on a bottom of the indication portion. The identification pattern is disposed on an inner surface of the sunken structure. The optical sensor is disposed inside the casing and faces the sunken structure, and adapted to analyze a movement of the identification pattern to identify a control status of the stick body.

The body has a deformable bottom surface whereon a pattern is disposed. The image sensor is disposed under the body and adapted to capture a frame about the pattern. A light-guide assembly and an access control system are provided. The light-guide assembly is used as an interface for touch input. The light-guide assembly includes a light-guide element and a light source disposed on a lateral surface of the light-guide element. The light source emits a first light with a first wavelength. The light-guide element has an upper surface, a lower surface, and an inner layer that is made of a light-transmissive material. The first light enters the light-guide element through the lateral surface and propagates inside the light-guide element for reacting to the touch event occurring on the upper surface. A verification data used in an access control system is formed when the touch event is sensed and identified. A light-activation element of the assembly activates the first light propagating inside the light-guide element and produces a second light that is used to provide a visual effect.

The disclosure is related to a sensor module, a sensor unit and a system for recognizing surrounding objects and defining an environment. The sensor module is installed in a sensor unit. The sensor module includes an optical element guiding the lights from the objects surrounding the sensor unit and to an image sensor, and the image sensor is used to sense the lights from the objects. The light can be directly from a light source inside the surrounding object or reflected by the object surface. The objects can be identified according to optical features obtained by the image sensor from surfaces of the objects. When the image sensor receives the two lights, guided by the optical element, and reads optical features being regarded as the unique IDs to identify the objects respectively. Therefore, an environment around the sensor unit can be defined.
