A lens is provided for converting a laser beam into laser lines of uniform brightness. The lens has an emission plane through which the laser beam passes, the emission plane having a continuous incline. There is also provided a method for designing the lens.

Lens for forming laser lines with uniform brightness

A position and adjustment device for a laser module has a cylindrical body having a bore therein, the body having a first plurality of openings and a second plurality of openings that are spaced apart around the body. A laser module is positioned inside the bore. The position and adjustment device also has a plurality of bolts, with each bolt extending through a corresponding one of the first openings into the bore, each bolt having an inner end and a rotating ball provided at the inner end and providing a rolling contact with the external surface of the laser module. The position and adjustment device also has a plurality of biased pins, with each pin extending through a corresponding one of the second plurality of openings into the bore, each pin having a curved inner end that provides a point contact with the external surface of the laser module.

A laser projection apparatus has an adjustment platform having a base seat, a platform portion that is adjustably coupled to the base seat, and an adjustment mechanism that is operatively coupled to the base seat and the platform portion to adjust the inclination angle of the platform portion with respect to the base seat. The apparatus also has a frame body that is connected to the adjustment platform, and a column that is suspended by the frame body and which is separated from the adjustment platform by a distance. The apparatus further includes a first projection light-source mechanism that is connected to the column and which projects a straight light that is parallel to a central axis, and a second projection light-source mechanism which is connected to the column and which projects a light ring that is transverse to the central axis.

A projection apparatus has a frame having a top seat, a main body and a light source module. The main body includes a hanging mechanism that is pivotable about the top seat with respect to a first axis direction and a second axis direction, and a connection seat having an adjustment mechanism that is coupled to the hanging mechanism in a manner that allows for adjustment of the inclination angle between the connection seat and the hanging mechanism. The light-source module is coupled to the connection seat and projects a light plane.

An illuminable laser sight has a power source, a laser module coupled to the power source, a laser module coupled to the power source and having a laser diode for emitting laser beams, and an adjuster module positioned around the laser module and coupled to the power source, the adjuster module having a front face and a laser light exit formed at the center of the front face and aligned with the laser diode. The laser sight further includes an illuminator module positioned adjacent the front face of the adjuster module, the illuminator module having a plurality of LEDs arranged in an annular manner to define a central bore that is axially aligned with the laser light exit and the laser diode.

A light adjustment device for a laser resonant socket having a laser base having a housing that defines a laser chamber that retains a laser diode therein, and a fixing seat disposed at one end of the housing. The light adjustment device further includes an upper cover that is removably coupled with the fixing seat to define a spherical groove, and an adjuster body having a ball and an adjusting shaft, with a resonant socket room defined in the ball, and with a laser resonant socket retained inside the socket room. The ball is seated inside the spherical groove in a manner such that the ball can be pivoted inside the spherical groove to adjust the orientation of the ball and the adjusting shaft with respect to the laser base.

An apparatus for measuring the speed of an object includes a first laser source for emitting a first laser plane at an intended path, and a second laser source for emitting a second laser plane at the intended path, with the second laser source positioned from the first laser source at a known distance. The apparatus further includes a detector system positioned to receive a first laser light and a second laser light that have been reflected from the first laser plane and the second laser plane, respectively, upon reflection of the first and second laser planes off the object. The detector system generates a first pulse signal and a second pulse signal, respectively, in response to the receipt of the first and second laser lights, respectively. The apparatus also includes a signal processing circuit coupled to the detector system for calculating the speed of an object passing through the intended path based on the first and second pulse signals generated by the detector system.

Laser apparatus and method for speed measurement

A method of manufacturing a laser module is provided, which includes the steps of providing a one-piece cylindrical housing having a bore, a front window and a rear opening, securing a lens piece in the bore adjacent the front window, introducing a laser diode into the bore through the rear opening, applying a force to the laser diode to insert the laser diode into the bore while simultaneously focusing the lens, and ceasing the application of force when the lens has been accurately focused. The present invention also provides a method of focusing the lens, which includes the steps of passing a laser beam from the laser diode through the lens, splitting the beam that has passed through the lens into separate first and second beams, directing the first beam at a first light receiving device, and directing the second beam at a second light receiving device, with respective dots being created at the first and second light receiving devices, and varying the distance between the lens and the laser diode until the dots received at the first and second light receiving devices have the same size.
