A touch display includes a plurality of pixels, a plurality of scan lines, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of first conducting layers, and a plurality of third conducting layers. The plurality of scan lines are coupled to the plurality of pixels. The plurality of data lines are coupled to the plurality of pixels and the plurality of first conducting layers to provide a touch driving signal. Each first conducting layer of the plurality of first conducting layers is configured to receive the touch driving signal. The plurality of third conducting layers is configured to output a touch sensing signal according to the touch driving signals outputted by the plurality of first conducting layers.

Touch display and driving method thereof

A touch circuit chip includes a load adjustment unit and a comparator. The load adjustment unit adjusts a determined impedance value according to an impedance matching signal. The first comparator has a first end electrically coupled to a first load and from which to receive a sensing signal, a second end electrically coupled to a second load via the load adjustment unit and from which to receive a reference signal, and an output end. The comparator compares the received sensing signal with the received reference signal and accordingly output a comparison result. The touch circuit chip determines whether there exists a change of a capacitance value of a coupling capacitor between the first and second loads according to the comparison result, wherein the determined impedance value is matched to the impedance value of the coupling capacitor and the first load. A touch apparatus is also provided.

Touch circuit chip and touch apparatus using the same

A touch display apparatus is disclosed in the disclosure. The touch display apparatus includes a panel module, a display driving circuit and a touch sensing circuit. The panel module includes pixel units, common electrode lines and a touch receiving line. The common electrode lines are disposed vertical to the touch response lines. The display driving circuit is coupled to the panel module to drive the pixel units. The display driving circuit is synchronized to the touch sensing circuit. The touch transmission signal for touch-sensing is transmitted via the common electrode line sequentially. In addition, a display-driving method is also disclosed.

A capacitive touch module includes a first glass layer, a second glass layer, a liquid crystal layer, a first insulating layer, a second insulating layer, a plurality of first electrodes, second electrodes and third electrodes. The liquid crystal layer is arranged between the first glass layer and the second glass layer. The first insulating layer is formed between the first glass layer and the liquid crystal layer. The second insulating layer is formed between the liquid crystal layer and the second glass layer. The plurality of first electrodes are formed between the liquid crystal layer and the first insulating layer along a first axis. The plurality of second electrodes are formed between the second insulating layer and the second glass layer along the first axis. The plurality of third electrodes are formed between the first insulating layer and the first glass layer along a second axis.

A touch display includes a display panel, a plurality of sensing electrodes and a driving circuit module. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels. The plurality of sensing electrodes are stacked with the display panel and are used for detecting a touch input and generating a sensing signal in response to the touch input. The driving circuit module is electrically coupled to the display panel and the plurality of sensing electrodes, for controlling the pixels of the display panel according to an image data, and generating a touch signal for indicating whether the touch display is touched or not in response to the image data and the sensing signal.

A method of determining input pattern is adapted to be implemented on an electronic apparatus equipped with a touch panel and includes the steps of: detecting a plurality of boundary points between an input pattern inputted through the touch panel and a circumscribed polygon of the input pattern, detecting an area ratio of a polygon defined by the boundary points to the circumscribed polygon, and determining the shape of the input pattern at least according to the area ratio. The present invention also provides a computer readable storage medium having a program stored therein. When the program is executed which enables an electronic apparatus equipped with a touch panel to determine the shape and/or direction of an input pattern inputted through the touch panel.

A display includes a display module and a sensing module including a proximity sensing electrode, a set of sensing electrodes, a touch circuit, a proximity circuit and a processor. The sensing electrodes are configured to sense a touch input during a first period and sense a proximity input during a second period. The touch circuit is coupled to the sensing electrodes for controlling the sensing electrodes to sense the touch input in the first period, and converting a two-dimensional analog touch signal transmitted from the set of the sensing electrodes to a two-dimensional digital touch signal. An exemplary operating method of a capacitive touch panel adapted to a touch control barrier-type three-dimensional display device and including a sensing device is disclosed. In the operating method, a sensing voltage readout operation is performed only during a signal caused by a transient of a barrier voltage is smaller than a preset value. The voltage readout operation includes steps of: providing a first driving signal to the sensing device for performing the sensing voltage readout operation during the barrier voltage is at a logic high level; and providing a second driving signal to the sensing device for performing the sensing voltage readout operation during the barrier voltage is at a logic low level. A pulse amplitude of the first driving signal is smaller than that of the second driving signal.

Operating method of capacitive touch panel and touch control barrier-type 3D display device

A method for detecting touch-point coordinates includes: scanning a plurality of signal points in sequence to generate a plurality of original data including a plurality of original touch point data; performing a grouping algorithm for the original touch point data to group the original touch point data into a plurality of group sets; and calculating a barycentric coordinate of each of the group sets and outputting the barycentric coordinate as a touch-point coordinate of each of the group sets.

Touch-point coordinate detecting method

A touch device is disposed on a substrate having a plurality of scan lines. The touch device comprises a plurality of readout lines and a plurality of sensors. The readout lines and the scan lines are intersected with each other, and the sensors are electrically coupled to the corresponding scan lines and the corresponding readout lines respectively. A scan signal is introduced into the scan lines in sequence to control whether turning on the sensors, and the scan signal comprises at least one first turn-on pulse and a second turn-on pulse to simultaneously turn on at least two sensors which are electrically coupled to different scan lines.

An electroluminescent display touch panel includes a base substrate and an encapsulating substrate. The base substrate includes a pixel switching device, a readout device, an electroluminescent device, and a sensing pad. The pixel switching device and the electroluminescent device are disposed in a display region. The readout device and the sensing pad are disposed in a non-display region. The encapsulating substrate includes a first spacer, a sensing spacer, and a conductive layer. The first spacer is disposed on the surface of the encapsulating substrate facing the base substrate, maintaining a cell gap between the base substrate and the encapsulating substrate. The sensing spacer is disposed on the surface of the encapsulating substrate facing the base substrate and corresponding to the sensing pad. The conductive layer is formed on the surface of the sensing spacer facing the sensing pad.

Electroluminescent display touch panel

A display panel with multi-touch function includes a display area and a non-display area. The display area includes a data line, a gate line, a first sensing line, a second sensing line, and a sensing unit. The sensing unit electrically connects the first and second sensing lines according to a touch signal or electrically isolates the first sensing line from the second sensing line. The non-display area includes a gate driver, a first switch and a second switch. The first switch provides a path for charging the second sensing line according to a scan signal, and the second switch provides a path for discharging the second sensing line according to a reset signal.
