An inertia detection device includes one set of gyro sensors for detecting an angular velocity of a detection target object along a same direction, the gyro sensors arranged in a same physical quantity range, in which sensor movement is detectable as a same physical quantity. When an abnormality affecting an output signal of one of the gyro sensors is caused, based on an observation that a difference of magnitudes of the output signals from normal and abnormal gyro sensors is different from a difference of magnitudes of the output signals from two normal gyro sensors, such an abnormality of one of the gyro sensors is determinable by a comparison between the output signals, without using an estimated value thereof.

Inertia detection device

A waveform observation system includes two communication nodes, a waveform observation apparatus, and a signal generation portion. The two communication nodes execute a full-duplex communication by a differential signal through a transmission line. The waveform observation apparatus observes a communication signal waveform in the transmission line in response to an input of a trigger signal. The signal generation portion outputs the trigger signal. One of the two communication nodes generates a clock signal, and transmits a signal in synchronization with the clock signal. Remaining one of the two communication nodes reproduces the clock signal included in the signal received from the one of the two communication nodes, and transmits a signal in synchronization with the clock signal that is reproduced. The signal generation portion outputs the trigger signal when equal to or more than two symbols indicated by the signal output to the transmission line consecutively coincide with one another.

Waveform observation system and method for waveform observation

A transmission-path degradation detection apparatus includes a transmission path of a transmission system and plural communication devices connected to the transmission path. A signal generation part is provided in one communication device of the plural communication devices for generating a pseudo-communication signal. A degradation detection part is provided in one communication device of the plural communication devices for detecting a degradation of the transmission path based on a reception of the pseudo-communication signal passing through the transmission path.
