A method for repairing a polishing pad in real time includes a trimming step, a detection step, and a reconstruction and analysis step. A surface morphology of the polishing pad is reconstructed through detection, and analysis is performed according to the reconstruction, to ensure that a surface of the polishing pad can recover its function after the surface of the polishing pad is trimmed, so that the polishing pad can be used effectively to reduce costs.

Method for repairing polishing pad in real time

A method of manufacturing an optical component having micro-structures is described. The method detects a crystallization temperature within a crystallization temperature interval for fully filling the molding material into a mold cavity to rapidly produce the optical element having a micro-structure with a large area.

Method of manufacturing optical component having micro-structures

A system and a method for uniformed surface measurement are provided, in which a sensor is provided to perform measurements on a carrier in a polishing machine, and a measuring trajectory of the sensor on the carrier is adjusted by controlling the pivoting of a sensor carrier carrying the sensor and the rotation of a rotating platform in the polishing machine in order to achieve uniformed surface measurements of the carrier and real-time constructions of the surface topography. This allows the polishing state of the carrier to be monitored in real time, thereby improving the efficiency of the polishing process. A sensing apparatus for uniformed surface measurement is also provided.

The progressive multifocal contact lens includes a first optical region of a front optical surface and a second optical region of a back optical surface. The first optical region includes a center zone, an outer zone and an intermediate zone connected between the center zone and outer zone where the center zone and outer zone are selected from a distance vision power and a near vision power and the intermediate zone is configured to adjust the optical power of the distance vision power and the near vision power so that the optical power or add power of the first optical region on the front optical surface forms a normal cumulative distribution function.

Progressive multifocal contact lens and producing method thereof

An in-mold vibratile injection compression molding method and molding apparatus thereof are described. While performing a filling stage, a first piezoelectric actuator and a second piezoelectric actuator are use to vibrate the molding material along at least two directions for precisely filling the molding material into the micro-structure by adjusting the filling flow velocity of the molding material associated with the proper molding material temperature and by maintaining a molding material temperature of a skin solidified layer in the cavity between a glass transition temperature and a melting temperature in order to avoid the form error, to increase the groove filling rate and to improve the residual stress.

In-mold vibratile injection compression molding method and molding apparatus thereof

A novel polishing pad is described. The polishing pad includes a base plate, a main polishing body, a plurality of metal bottom portions, a positive electrode conductive wire and a negative electrode conductive wire. The main polishing body made from a non-conductive material and disposed on the base plate includes a plurality of cavities thereon. The metal bottom portions are disposed in the cavities with each of the cavities having one of the metal bottom portions therein. The positive electrode conductive wire electrically is connected to a positive electrode of a power supply. The negative electrode conductive wire electrically is connected to a negative electrode of the power supply. The positive electrode conductive wire and the negative electrode conductive wire alternatively pass through the base plate and connect to the metal bottom portions respectively.

Electrically assisted chemical-mechanical planarization (EACMP) system and method thereof

A supplying system of adding gas into the polishing slurry and method thereof are described. The supplying system includes a slurry container, a gas-mixed container, an adjusting device, a first flow controller, and a second flow controller. The supplying system utilizes the adjusting device to mix the polishing slurry with gas for forming the gas-mixed polishing slurry. The supplying system of adding the gas into the polishing slurry and method thereof are capable of increasing the material removal rate of the surface of the substrate in order to improve the processing quality of the substrate.

An artificial joint fixation mechanism has a base for being attached to an artificial joint, a stem for guiding an artificial joint to engage with a human bone, and a sleeve. The base defines a conic shaft hole therethrough. At least a positioning section and at least a threaded section are extended adjacent an end of the shaft hole. The stem includes an engaging pole at an end thereof for jointing to an artificial joint. The sleeve is threaded for screwing to the threaded section and defines an inner cone hole therethrough. In use, the engaging pole of the stem implants into the shaft hole. The sleeve is screwed to the threaded section, and the inner cone hole reversely pressing against the guiding section. Thus the stem is pressed reliably.

Artificial joint fixation mechanism

A combined retardation optical device includes a first retardation optical plate and a second retardation optical plate. The second retardation optical plate contains a flat portion and a multi-step portion. This multi-step portion has several step-like flat surfaces with predetermined heights. The flat portion contacts with the first retardation optical plate. Both the first retardation optical device and the second retardation optical plate are made from birefringent materials. This invention is easy to switch to a different retardation condition for observation. Plus, there is no need to adjust or replace any element.

Combined retardation optical device

A soft zoom lens system includes an axially expandable or shrinkable holding portion, a supporting portion, a first lens and a second lens. This holding portion has an inner space, a first end and a second end. The supporting portion is made by a soft material. The first lens is disposed between the first end and the supporting portion. The second lens is disposed between the second end and the supporting portion. When this holding portion is applied by predetermined electricity, it will expand or to shrink axially. So, the curvatures of the first lens and the second lens will be changed. The zooming is performed. The invention's structure is simple. The adjusting of focal length is easy. The production is easy with low cost.
