A battery pack includes: a first battery cell; a circuit board electrically connected to the first battery cell and extending along a first axis, a first surface of the circuit board facing the first battery cell; a first connection tab protruding from the first surface of the circuit board toward the first battery cell along a second axis crossing the first axis; and a detection connection member connecting the first connection tab to the first battery cell.

Battery pack

A battery pack includes: a plurality of battery cells; and a holder including cell regions in which the plurality of battery cells are arranged, and well regions each arranged between adjacent cell regions of the cell regions, each of the well regions being connected to at least one of the adjacent cell region and being filled with a filling resin.

A battery pack includes a first battery stack having a plurality of battery cells connected in series, a second battery stack having a plurality of battery cells connected in series and connected in parallel to the first battery stack, a controller for sensing voltages of the plurality of battery cells of the first battery stack and the plurality of battery cells of the second battery stack and for outputting a fuse blowing signal when at least one of the sensed voltages is lower than a first reference voltage, and a fuse blowing unit for electrically decoupling the first and second battery stacks from an output terminal of the battery pack in response to the fuse blowing signal from the controller. A fuse blowing signal is also sent to the fuse blowing unit when the at least one of the sensed voltages is higher than a second reference voltage.

Battery pack and over-discharge protecting method thereof

A hybrid battery and full charge capacity calculation method thereof. A full charge capacity is calculated for each battery at at least two discharge voltage levels, and a total full charge capacity is calculated by adding the calculated full charge capacity of the discharging battery to a full charge capacity of a non-discharging battery. A hybrid battery includes: a first power source and a second power source; a sense resistor that senses and outputs current information of at least one of the first power source or the second power source; and a fuel gauge circuit that calculates a first accumulated discharge amount using the current information from the sense resistor when a voltage of a currently discharging one of the first or second power source reaches a first discharge voltage level, and to add a first capacity corresponding to the first discharge voltage level to the first accumulated discharge amount.
