A mobile system is provided for managing safety in a dynamic environment. The system comprises: a computer vision component for generating a computer vision output data; a real-time locating component for generating location data about an object within the industrial environment; a LIDAR component for generating 3D point cloud data of the industrial environment; and one or more processors coupled to the computer vision component, the real-time locating component and the LIDAR component and configured to: (i) process the data stream with aid of a machine learning algorithm trained model to generate a safety related result and feedback data, and (ii) deliver the feedback data to the object via the mobile tag device, and a mobile platform configured to move the mobile system in the environment.

Mobile safety systems

Multimodal systems are provided for managing safety in an industrial environment. The system comprises: (a) a computer vision component for generating a first output data; (b) a real-time locating component for generating a second output data about an object within the industrial environment and a mobile tag device deployed to the object; (c) a LIDAR component for generating a third output data; and (d) an edge computing device connected to the computer vision component, the real-time locating component and the LIDAR component via a local network, and is configured to: (i) receive a data stream including the first output data, the second output data and the third output data, (ii) process the data stream using a machine learning algorithm trained model to generate a safety related result and feedback data, and (iii) deliver the feedback data to the object via the mobile tag device.

Multimodal safety systems and methods

An adaptive multimodal system is provided for managing safety in an industrial environment. The system comprises: a computer vision component for generating a computer vision output data; a real-time locating component for generating location data about an object within the industrial environment; a LIDAR component for generating 3D point cloud data of the industrial environment; and one or more processors coupled to the computer vision component, the real-time locating component and the LIDAR component and configured to: (i) obtain an identity of the object and the location data, and (ii) adjust, based at least in part on the identity and the location data, a pixel distribution for acquiring the 3D point cloud data, the process for generating the computer vision output data, or one or more parameters for acquiring an image data by the computer vision component.

A multimodal system is provided for managing safety in an industrial environment. In one embodiment, an A/V recording and communication device is provided, the device comprising a camera configured to capture image data of an object within a field of view of the camera, wherein the field of view comprises at least one active motion zone; a communication module; and a processing module comprising: a processor; and a motion detection application that configures the processor to: detect motion of the object within the field of view; capture image data; assign an object ID; determine a speed and a direction of movement; determine an aspect ratio; create an object boundary and determine a distance between a center of the object boundary and the at least one active motion zone; and determine whether the object is a passing vehicle.

Passing vehicle filters for audio/video recording and communication devices

Automatic exposure control for audio/video (A/V) recording and communication devices in accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure are provided. In one embodiment, an A/V recording and communication device is provided, comprising: a camera configured to capture image data of a foreground object within a field of view of the camera; a communication module; and a processing module comprising: a processor; and a camera application that configures the processor to: detect motion within the field of view that includes an active image region; capture image data of the field of view; detect the foreground object in the active image region and determine an external lighting level associated with the foreground object; determine at least one exposure control gain setting based on the determined external lighting level; and apply the at least one exposure control gain setting to configure the camera to capture image data focused on the foreground object.

Automatic dynamic range control for audio/video recording and communication devices

An audio/video (A/V) recording and communication doorbell, including a camera, a speaker, a microphone, a power manager, a battery, an AC/DC rectifier, and a DC/DC converter. The doorbell is configured for connection to an external AC power source through the AC/DC rectifier and the DC/DC converter. The power manager is configured to draw power, up to a threshold power, from the AC power source and to draw supplemental power from the battery such that the power drawn from the AC power source never exceeds the threshold power. The present A/V recording and communication doorbell can thus be connected to an existing household AC power supply and an existing doorbell signaling device without causing inadvertent sounding of the signaling device.

Low-power-consumption audio/video recording and communication doorbell

This application is directed to an electronic device that uses at least a low-power computer vision component to determine whether to activate a camera. For instance, the electronic device may cause the camera to operate in a low-power mode, such as by turning the camera off. The electronic device may then detect motion of an object using a motion sensor. Additionally, the electronic device may generate first image data using the computer vision component, where the first image data represents the object. After generating the first image data, the electronic device may use the computer vision component to analyze the first the image data in order to determine that the object includes a type of object, such as a person. Based at least in part on the determination, the electronic device may activate the camera and generate second image data using the camera.

Motion sensing for electronic devices

A method includes receiving image data at a first tracking system. The image data represents a region in an image of a sequence of images. The method also includes generating a first tracking fingerprint based on the image data. The method further includes comparing the first tracking fingerprint and a second tracking fingerprint. The method also includes providing an output from the first tracking system to a second tracking system based on a result of the comparison of the first tracking fingerprint and the second tracking fingerprint. The output includes an instruction associated with an object model stored at the second tracking system.

System and method to improve object tracking using tracking fingerprints

An audio/video (A/V) recording and communication doorbell comprises a camera, a front button, and a motion sensor. The camera and the motion sensor are configured to work in tandem to detect motion in a field of view of the A/V recording and communication doorbell, such that a first one of the camera and the motion sensor detects motion and the other one of the camera and the motion sensor independently verifies the motion detection before an alert is sent to a user's client device. In this manner, user alerts from false alarm motion detections are reduced.
