Method and server system for providing recommendations during a chat session are disclosed. The method includes: processing instant messages transmitted during a chat session between a first user and one or more second users to obtain one or more keywords of a current conversation between the first user and the one or more second users; selecting at least one of the one or more keywords in accordance with a determination that the at least one keyword has remained relevant to the current conversation for at least a threshold time period; identifying one or more information items relevant to the at least one keyword in accordance with the selection of the at least one keyword; and providing the one or more information items to at least one of the first and second users for display within a conversation interface displaying the current conversation between the first and second users.

Method and system for providing recommendations during a chat session

A method and system for information matching in an instant messaging user interface are disclosed. The method includes monitoring, in real time, chat records in an instant messaging interface to identify a keyword and starting a search application interface if the keyword is identified. The method further includes obtaining key information associated with keyword through the search application interface, and presenting the key information in the instant messaging interface. The method and system consistent with the present disclosure may enrich the user experience in instant messaging applications.

A method of session processing in the Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) comprises: Interrogating-Call State Control Function (I-CSCF) accessing the Home Subscriber Server (HSS) to query the registration location of the called user, the I-CSCF sending the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) request to the Serving-Call State Control Function (S-CSCF) based on the response of the HSS; when the response time of the S-CSCF to the SIP request sent from the I-CSCF has expired, the I-CSCF re-selecting the S-CSCF, and sending the SIP request to the S-CSCF. And an Interrogating-Call State Control Function is provided. According to the present invention, if the S-CSCF returned by the HSS to process the unregistered service of the IMS user does not responded because of the device failure or communication interruption or the like, the I-CSCF can re-select other S-CSCF to process the unregistered service of the IMS user, so as to improve the quality of service and to increase the satisfaction of user.
