A battery module includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a module frame accommodating the battery cell stack; an end plate positioned on a front surface and a rear surface of the battery cell stack; and a heat sink positioned under a bottom portion of the module frame. The bottom portion constitutes the upper plate of the heat sink. The module frame includes a first module frame protruded part and a second module frame protruded part formed by protruding a part of the bottom portion, and the first module frame protruded part and the second module frame protruded part are positioned to be spaced apart from each other. A welding part where the end plate and the module frame are welded is positioned between the first module frame protruded part and the second module frame protruded part.

Battery module and battery pack including the same

The present disclosure relates to a battery module and a battery pack including the same. A battery module according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked, a module frame arranged so as to wrap the battery cell stack, a busbar frame arranged so as to cover the front and rear surfaces of the battery cell stack that is exposed from the module frame, and an end plate arranged so as to cover the busbar frame. The module frame may includes a lower frame for covering the lower part and both side surfaces of the battery cell stack, and an upper plate for covering the upper part of the battery cell stack. At least one assembly guide part may be formed at an edge of the lower frame coupled to the upper plate.

A battery module including: a battery cell stack that includes a plurality of battery cells; a housing accommodating the battery cell stack; a pair of end plates covering front and rear surfaces, respectively, of the battery cell stack and coupled to the housing; a heat sink positioned below a bottom portion of the housing, and at least two cooling ports connected to the heat sink. Each of the end plates includes: a first mounting portion positioned between a side end portion of the end plate and at least one of the at least two cooling ports adjacent to the side end portion, and extending in a protrusion direction of an electrode lead protruding from the battery cell; and a second mounting portion positioned between two adjacent cooling ports of the at least two cooling ports, and extending in the protrusion direction of the electrode lead protruding from the battery cell.

Battery module and battery including the same

A battery module includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked, and a busbar frame located on a front surface or a rear surfaces of the battery cell stack, the busbar frame includes a support part surrounding at least a portion of a bottom surface of the battery cell stack, and the support part includes an extension region extending from the busbar frame in a lengthwise direction of a battery cell of the plurality of battery cells, and a protrusion region on the extension region.

A battery module includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked, a module frame for housing the battery cell stack, a thermal conductive resin layer located between a bottom portion of the module frame and the battery cell stack, and a heat sink located below a bottom portion of the module frame. The bottom portion of the module frame has an upper plate of the heat sink, and an avoidance portion for exposing one end of the bottom portion of the module frame is formed at one end of the heat sink.
