A connection assembly for an antenna includes a printed circuit board and a coaxial cable connected to the printed circuit board. A transmission trace and a solder pad are provided on the printed circuit board. An opening for receiving an end portion of the coaxial cable is also provided in the printed circuit board, and an exposed outer conductor of the end portion extends into the opening, and an exposed inner conductor reaches the solder pad. The connection assembly further includes a ground structure, which is electrically connected to a ground metal layer on a second surface of the printed circuit board, and the ground structure is at least partially arranged on both sides of the exposed inner conductor and/or the exposed outer conductor.

Connection assembly for antenna and base station antenna

A multi-band antenna includes a first column of radiating elements that are configured to operate in a first operating frequency band mounted on a reflecting plate; a second column of radiating elements that are configured to operate in a second operating frequency band mounted on the reflecting plate; a first fence and a second fence located on both sides of the reflecting plate that extend forward from the reflecting plate, where the first and second columns of radiating elements are arranged in between the first and second fences, the first fence and the second fence respectively comprise a frequency selective surface with a passband and a stopband, the passband covers at least the first operating frequency band, and the stopband covers at least the second operating frequency band.

Multi-band antenna

An antenna includes a reflector, a radiating element extending forwardly of the reflector, and a director positioned forwardly of the radiating element. The director includes a plurality of passive impedance elements that provide frequency-dependent reactances to currents induced therein responsive to electromagnetic radiation generated by the radiating element. The plurality of passive impedance elements include: (i) a primary capacitive element, (ii) a first series LC circuit having a first inductor therein electrically connected to a first portion of the primary capacitive element, and (iii) a second series LC circuit having a second inductor therein electrically connected to a second portion of the primary capacitive element.

Multi-band antennas having enhanced directors therein that inhibit radiation interference across multiple frequency bands

A multi-band antenna includes a reflector that provides a ground plane, a first array of first radiating elements, each of the first radiating elements located on a front side of the reflector and configured to emit first electromagnetic radiation in a low frequency band, a second array of second radiating elements, each of the second radiating elements located on the front side of the reflector and configured to emit second electromagnetic radiation in a high frequency band, and an artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) plane that is located between the reflector and a radiator of the first radiating element and between the reflector and a radiator of the second radiating element. The AMC plane is configured to reflect the first electromagnetic radiation substantially in phase and to reflect the second electromagnetic radiation substantially in antiphase.

A power divider includes: a dielectric substrate; a transmission line circuit on a first surface of the dielectric substrate, the transmission line circuit including an input trace, a first output trace and a second output trace. The transmission line circuit is configured to split a signal received at the input trace into a first sub-component that is output on the first output trace and a second sub-component that is output on the second output trace; and a reference potential layer, set on a second surface opposite the first surface of the dielectric substrate, where the reference potential layer is provided with a decoupling window that exposes a part of the dielectric substrate to reduce coupling in the transmission line circuit.

Power divider and base station antenna

A base station antenna that may include radiating elements having tilted dipoles. For example, a base station antenna may include a reflector and a plurality of radiating elements, each radiating element mounted on the front surface of the reflector and having a support stalk and at least one dipole mounted to the support stalk. The radiating elements include a plurality of first radiating elements configured to operate in a first operating frequency band, and arranged in one or more first columns extending along a first direction; and a plurality of second radiating elements, configured to operate in a second operating frequency band different from the first operating frequency band, and arranged in one or more second columns extending along the first direction. At least one dipole of a first of the second radiating elements in at least one of the second columns is tilted around the first direction.

Base station antennas including radiating elements having tilted dipoles

A calibration circuit board for an antenna. The calibration circuit board may include: a first metal layer configured to be grounded; a first substrate over the first metal layer; a second substrate over the first substrate; and a plurality of couplers. Each coupler may include: a transmission line provided with an input port and an output port at both ends thereof, respectively; and a coupling line coupled with the transmission line and including two first portions respectively located at both sides of the transmission line, and a second portion connected between the two first portions. The coupling lines may be connected in series to provide a first calibration port and a second calibration port. One of the transmission lines and the coupling lines may be between the first substrate and the second substrate, and the other of the transmission lines and the coupling lines may be over the second substrate.

Calibration circuit board and antenna apparatus including the same

The present disclosure relates to a coupler and a base station antenna. The coupler comprises: a first coupling member comprising a first substrate, and a first signal path and a first sub-path of a second signal path located on the first substrate, the first sub-path configured to be at least partially coupled with the first signal path to couple a portion of a signal in the first signal path into the second signal path; a second coupling member vertically stacked with the first coupling member, the second coupling member comprising a second substrate, and a second sub-path of the second signal path located on the second substrate; a shielding member disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate so as to shield the first coupling member and the second coupling member from one another, the shielding member being provided with a first connection through-hole; and a first connection member passing through the first connection through-hole and electrically connected between the first sub-path and the second sub-path.

Radiating elements include a conductive patch having first and second slots that each extend along a first axis and third and fourth slots that each extend along a second axis that is perpendicular to the first axis, a feed network that includes first through fourth feed lines, each feed line crossing a respective one of the first through fourth slots, and a conductive ring that at least partially surrounds the periphery of the conductive patch and that encloses each of the first through fourth slots.

Compact wideband dual-polarized radiating elements for base station antenna applications

The present disclosure relates to an antenna device comprising: a first antenna comprising a first reflecting member configured to reflect at least a portion of a signal radiated by the antenna device; a second antenna comprising a second reflecting member configured to reflect at least a portion of the signal radiated by the antenna device, there is a spacing between the first reflecting member and the second reflecting member; and a coupling capacitor comprising a first polar plate and a second polar plate, the first polar plate is disposed on a side, close to the spacing, of a first reflecting surface of the first reflecting member, and the second polar plate is disposed on a side, close to the spacing, of a second reflecting surface of the second reflecting member.

Antenna device

An antenna includes a first radiating element configured to emit first electromagnetic radiation in response to at least one feed signal having a frequency within a first radio frequency (RF) band. A director is provided, which is positioned forwardly of the first radiating element, and in a path of the first electromagnetic radiation. The director includes first and second passive impedance elements that provide respective first and second frequency-dependent reactances to first currents induced within the director in response to the first electromagnetic radiation. The first and second passive impedance elements may include a first inductor and a first capacitor, which are electrically coupled in series. The director may also be configured to include a plurality of passive impedance elements that are connected within an impedance loop containing a second LC circuit in series with a first LC circuit.

A multi-band antenna includes a reflector, and a plurality of first radiating elements on the reflector. The plurality of first radiating elements are configured to radiate a first antenna beam(s) in a first frequency band responsive to at least one feed signal. A passive radiation-filtering element is provided, which extends proximate the first antenna beam(s). The passive radiation-filtering element includes at least one of a low-pass LC circuit, a band-pass LC circuit, and a high-pass LC circuit therein, which is configured to provide a lower frequency-dependent impedance to radiation within the first frequency band relative to radiation at frequencies outside the first frequency band. The passive radiation-filtering element may be configured as a multi-segment fence having capacitive and inductive elements therein, which are electrically coupled in series.

Multi-band antenna having passive radiation-filtering elements therein

The present invention relates to a base station antenna. The base station antenna comprises: a reflector that is configured to provide a ground plane; a first radiating element array including at least one first cross-polarized radiating element that is arranged on the reflector; and a first parasitic element array including first through third parasitic element pairs, wherein each of the first through third parasitic element pairs includes a pair of parasitic elements that are arranged substantially symmetrically on both sides of the first longitudinal axis, and distances from the first through third parasitic element pairs respectively to the first longitudinal axis increase sequentially, wherein projections of any two of the first parasitic element pair, the second parasitic element pair, the third parasitic element pair, and the at least one first cross-polarized radiating element on the first longitudinal axis at least partly overlap.

Base station antenna

The present disclosure relates to a phase shifter, which includes: a phase shift circuit board with conductive traces printed thereon; and a phase shift circuit board with conductive traces printed thereon; and a slide device with a first tooth section configured to be driven, wherein movement of the first tooth section drives the slide device to slide on the phase shift circuit board. In addition, the present disclosure further relates to a remote electrical tilt system, which includes an actuator, a transmission mechanism, and at least one phase shifter according to the present disclosure, wherein the actuator is configured to drive the transmission mechanism, and the transmission mechanism engages the first tooth section to drive the slide device to slide on the phase shift circuit board. In addition, the present disclosure also relates to a base station antenna which includes the remote electrical tilt system according to the present disclosure. The base station antenna according to the present disclosure may improve the stability of the transmission of the remote electrical tilt system and increase the space utilization of the remote electrical tilt system.
