A switch system may include a switch circuitry, an external housing for the switch circuitry, a number of first connector ports, and a second connector port. The switch circuitry is configured for coupling to input and output interfaces of the computers and is configured for switching a set of input and output interface couplings to one of the computers. The first connector ports are mounted on the housing. Each of the first connector ports is coupled to the switch circuitry for providing couplings to the computers. Each of the first connector ports has no less than sixteen electrical contacts for providing couplings to a display interface, an input device interface, and an audio interface. The second connector port is mounted on the housing. The second connector port is coupled to the switch circuitry for providing the set of input and output interface couplings, and the second connector port include electrical contacts for a display device, an input device, and an audio device.

Interface switch system for simultaneously connecting multiple I/O devices

An electrical connector includes a group of first electrical terminals and at least one second electrical terminal. The group of first electrical terminals is arranged in three rows, and the first electrical terminals in one of the three rows are separate from each other in a first pitch. The second electrical terminal is separate from an outmost first electrical terminal in the group of first electrical terminals in a second pitch.

A socket for automatically switching circuitry comprises an insulating housing, first contact, second contact, transmission component, and slave switch. The insulating housing has an opening for allowing the plug to insert into this opening. The first contact fixed on an inner side of the housing mechanically and electrically connects with a first electrode of the plug. The second contact with flexibility fixed in the housing mechanically and electrically connects with a second electrode of the plug and responds to the insertion of the plug to generate a deflection. A transmission component touching with the second contact transmits the deflection as a shifting displacement. The slave switch is separated from the second contact by touching with the transmission component at an opposite side to the second contact. When the plug inserts into the socket, the slave switch automatically switches the circuitry on or off by responding to the shifting displacement of the transmission component.
