An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display is disclosed. In one aspect, the OLED display includes a lower substrate including a display area and a non-display area surrounding the display area, wherein a plurality of pixels are formed in the display area. The OLED display also includes an embedded circuit formed in the configured to apply a plurality of signals to the pixels, and an initialization wiring formed in the non-display area and configured to apply an initialization voltage to each of the pixels. The initialization circuit is formed in a layer so as to at least partially overlap with the area of the embedded circuit.

A display panel includes a substrate including a display area, a peripheral area and a buffer area disposed between the display area and the peripheral area. The display panel further includes a switching element disposed in the display area. The switching element includes an active pattern, a gate electrode overlapping the active pattern, a source electrode connecting with the active pattern, and a drain electrode spaced apart from the source electrode. The display panel further includes a power supply line disposed in the peripheral area and disposed on a same layer as the source electrode and the drain electrode. The display panel additionally includes a power connecting line disposed in the buffer area and connecting the switching element to the power supply line. The display panel further includes a dummy active pattern disposed in the buffer area and overlapping the power connecting line.

Display panel and a method of manufacturing the same

A pixel according to the present invention includes: an organic light emitting diode having a cathode electrode connected to a second power; a first transistor controlling an amount of current supplied from a first power line connected through a third node to the organic light emitting diode connected through a second node in correspondence to the voltage applied to a first node; a storage capacitor connected between the first node and the second power; a second transistor connected between the first node and the third node and being turned on when a scan signal is supplied to a scan line; and a third transistor connected between the second node and the data line, and being turned on when the scan signal is supplied.

Pixel and organic light emitting display device using the same

An emission control line driver is capable of securing the stability of an output and of freely controlling the width of emission control signals. The emission control line driver includes a plurality of stages respectively coupled to emission control lines. Each of the stages includes a plurality of transistors that are configured to output the emission control signal. The width of the emission control signal may be controlled to correspond to the width of a start signal. Furthermore, a circuit structure of the stages is simplified.

An organic light-emitting display device includes a display substrate comprising a plurality of pixel regions at least partially defined by a plurality of non-pixel regions; a sealing substrate facing the display substrate; and a spacer on one of the non-pixel regions of the display substrate between the display substrate and the sealing substrate to maintain a space between the display substrate and the sealing substrate. The plurality of pixel regions include a first pixel; a second pixel spaced apart from the first pixel and having a center corresponding to a first corner of a virtual rectangle having a center corresponding to a center of the first pixel; and a third pixel spaced apart from the second pixel and having a center corresponding to a second corner adjacent to the first corner of the virtual rectangle. The spacer is adjacent to the second pixel.

Organic light-emitting display device

An organic light emitting display is disclosed. In one embodiment, the display includes pixels formed in every horizontal line, scan lines coupled to the pixels positioned in two horizontal lines, i data lines coupled to pixels positioned in odd horizontal lines, (i+1) data lines coupled to pixels positioned in even horizontal lines, and first and second emission control lines coupled to the pixels positioned in the two horizontal lines to supply first and second emission control signals, respectively. Each of the pixels includes a pixel circuit coupled to one of the data lines and one of the scan lines, a first organic light emitting diode (OLED) and a second OLED coupled to the pixel circuit to emit light to correspond to current supplied from the pixel circuit, and a selection unit for supplying current from the pixel circuit to the first or second OLED.

Organic light emitting display

A flat panel display sequentially supplying data signals to a pixel portion using a demultiplexer and a method of driving the flat panel sufficiently supply scan signals in a horizontal period to prevent deformation and distortion of the data signal supplied to each pixel and compensate for a threshold voltage of a drive transistor of the pixel. The flat panel display includes a pixel portion having a plurality of pixels, a scan driver to supply scan signals to the pixel portion, a data driver to generate data signals, a demultiplexer portion to sequentially supply the data signals to the pixel portion, and a lighting tester to supply a lighting test signal and an initialization signal to the pixel portion. Alternatively, the flat panel display includes a pixel portion having a plurality of pixels, a scan driver to supply scan signals to the pixel portion, a data driver to output data signals and a demultiplexer portion to sequentially supply an initialization signal and the data signal to the pixel portion.
