The wrist rest may include a base structure; at least two flexible supports extending from the base structure; a vibration assembly supported on the at least two flexible supports in a manner such that the vibration assembly may be spaced apart from the base structure; and a cushion assembly including a cushion disposed over the vibration assembly in a manner so as to conceal the vibration assembly between the base structure and the cushion. The cushion may be secured to the base structure. The at least two flexible supports may be configured to isolate the base structure from a vibrating motion of the vibration assembly. A surface of the vibration assembly directed towards the cushion assembly may move relative to a corresponding surface of the cushion assembly in a manner so as to allow the vibration motion of the vibration assembly to be sensed through the cushion.

Input device and a method for providing a scrolling input to a computing device

An input device including a switch connector having a plurality of electrical terminals fixedly mounted to a circuit board. The input device including a switch assembly magnetically coupled to the switch connector in a removable manner. The switch assembly including a switch adapter having a plurality of contact elements in engagement with the plurality of electrical terminals of the switch connector, and a switch fitted to the switch adapter with a plurality of leads of the switch electrically connected to the plurality of contact elements of the switch adapter. The switch adapter being between the switch connector and the switch. The input device including a magnetic catch arrangement having a first catch unit at the circuit board and a second catch unit at the switch adapter which coact with each other to magnetically couple the switch assembly to the switch connector. A corresponding switch assembly thereof and a computer mouse.

Input device and switch assembly thereof

A battery-operated handheld device including a housing to enclose electrical components and a battery holder. The battery holder including a first battery slot and a second battery slot. The first and second battery slots being sized to hold batteries of different battery sizes. The second battery slot being alongside the first battery slot. The electrical components of the handheld device may be powered by either the first battery inserted into the first battery slot or the second battery inserted into the second battery slot. The battery holder may serve as an adjustable weight distribution mechanism to shift a centre of gravity of the handheld device between a first predetermined centre of gravity associated with the first battery inserted into the first battery slot and a second predetermined centre of gravity associated with the second battery inserted into the second battery slot.

A mouse for communication with a processor-based device. The mouse may include a housing having a base portion. The mouse may further include a layer of metal coupled to the base portion. The layer of metal may be connected to an electric reference potential.

Computer mouse

An input device may include a housing, a scroll wheel having an arresting surface, and a lever pivotable about a pivot axis between first and second lever arms of the lever for moving a first free end portion of the first lever arm to engage or disengage the arresting surface. The input device may further include a rotary to linear motion converter having a rotary input axis and a linear output axis. The rotary to linear motion converter may be configured to apply a linear output motion along the linear output axis, converted from a rotary input motion about the rotary input axis, to move a second free end portion of the second lever arm so as to pivot the lever about the pivot axis for engaging or disengaging the first free end portion and the arresting surface to interchange the scroll wheel between a free-wheeling and a resistive-wheeling mode.

Input device

An input device may include a housing, a scroll wheel having an arresting surface, and a lever pivotable about a pivot axis between first and second lever arms of the lever. A first free end portion of the first lever arm may be configured to engage the arresting surface with an engagement force to arrest a rotation of the scroll wheel with a corresponding arresting force. The input device may further include an auxiliary wheel rotatably mounted on the housing, and a motion converter connected to the auxiliary wheel. The motion converter may be configured to apply a linear motion, converted from a rotation of the auxiliary wheel, to a second free end portion of the second lever arm so as to pivot the lever about the pivot axis to correspondingly adjust the engagement force, whereby the corresponding arresting force may be correspondingly adjustable by rotation of the auxiliary wheel.

According to various embodiments, an optical system may be provided. The optical system may include: a first optical arrangement having a first optical axis; a second optical arrangement having a second optical axis at least substantially parallel to the first optical axis; and a first movement member; wherein the first movement member is configured to move the first optical arrangement with respect to the second optical arrangement in a first direction and a second direction; wherein the first direction is a direction at least substantially parallel to the first optical axis; and wherein the second direction is a direction at least substantially perpendicular to the first optical axis.
