A pixel of an organic light emitting display device includes an organic light emitting diode, a driving transistor including a gate electrode coupled to a first node, a first electrode coupled to a second node, and a second electrode coupled to a third node, the driving transistor being configured to control a driving current through the organic light emitting diode based on a voltage of the first node, a first transistor coupled between the second node and a data line, the first transistor being configured to be turned on in response to a scan signal provided through a current scan line, a storage capacitor coupled between the first node and a high-power voltage line, the storage capacitor being configured to store a data signal provided through the first transistor, and an initialization block configured to initialize the first node based on a scan signal provided through a previous scan line.

Pixel and organic light emitting display device having the same

Exemplary embodiments of the inventive concept provide is a display apparatus. The display apparatus includes a display panel having a signal pad part including signal pads, impression pads, resistance measurement pads, and alignment pads. The display apparatus also includes a flexible circuit board having a connection pad part including first, second, third, and fourth pads which respectively correspond to the signal, impression, resistance measurement, and alignment pads. The signal, impression, and the resistance measurement pads are arranged along a first direction with a first gap therebetween, and the first, second, and third pads are arranged along the first direction with a second gap therebetween, the second gap being less than the first gap.

There are provided a liquid crystal display device and a driving method thereof, which can reduce power consumption and improve image quality. A liquid crystal display device includes pixels, a data driver and at least one gate driver. The pixels are positioned at intersection portions of gate lines and data lines. The data driver supplies a data signal having a first or second polarity to the data lines. The at least one gate driver supplies, to the gate lines, a first gate signal corresponding to the first polarity and a second gate signal corresponding to the second polarity.

An apparatus for driving source lines includes an output buffer, a first switch and a second switch. The output buffer outputs a first voltage and a second voltage having an opposite phase to the first voltage during an output interval including a first interval portion and a second interval portion. The first switch applies the first and second voltages to an m-th source line and an (m+1)-th source line respectively during the first interval portion and blocks the first and second voltages during the second interval portion. The second switch includes a plurality of switching elements, the second switch short-circuiting the m-th source line and the (m+1)-th source line during the second interval portion, wherein the m-th source line has at least two connecting portions to be electrically connected to the (m+1)-th source line.

In a display apparatus and a method of driving the display apparatus, data voltages, which correspond to image data, are supplied to data lines to drive a plurality of pixels arranged in pixel areas defined by a plurality of gate lines and data lines, and gate signals are sequentially supplied to gate lines. The gate signals are maintained at a level of gate on voltage such that the data voltages of the data lines are supplied to corresponding pixels during a scan period, and alternately have a first voltage level and a second voltage level in synchronization with a common voltage during a non-scan period.
