A secondary battery charging and discharging apparatus for performing a secondary battery activation process including a plurality of compression plates disposed to face each other to form a cell insert space therebetween in which a secondary battery cell is disposed, the plurality of compression plates moving to reduce a gap therebetween to press a body of the secondary battery cell; gripper units respectively mounted to the compression plates to move integrally with the compression plates, the gripper units coming into contact with an electrode lead of the secondary battery cell when the compression plate presses the body of the secondary battery cell; and push bar units respectively mounted to the compression plates to be adjacent to the gripper units and configured to press a terrace portion of the secondary battery cell adjacent to the electrode lead is provided.

Device for charging and discharging secondary battery

A charging and discharging apparatus for performing an activation process of a secondary battery including a plurality of compression plates spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance to form a cell insert space into which a secondary battery cell is inserted, the plurality of compression plates moving to reduce the separated distance to press a body of the secondary battery cell; a slip sheet having a sheet shape and formed to include attachment portions attached to top ends of the compression plates and a folding portion formed by folding a region between the attachment portions to be interposed in the cell insert space; and a slip sheet fixing unit provided to be attached to and detached from the top end of the compression plate in a fitting and releasing manner in a state where the attachment portions of the slip sheet are interposed therein is provided.

Secondary battery charging/discharging device

An electrode assembly and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The electrode assembly includes a first electrode laminate formed by stacking one or more electrode units having a first area, and a second electrode laminate formed by stacking one or more electrode units having a second area different from the first area. The first electrode laminate and the second electrode laminate are stacked on each other in a direction perpendicular to a plane and have a step portion formed by a difference in areas of the first and second electrode laminates, the step portion is present on at least one side of four sides of the electrode assembly, at least one step portion includes at least a portion of tape taped across a stacked side, and the portion of tape has a form corresponding to a stepped shape of the step portion.
