During a deployment phase, each worker that enters a secure area is identified. The behavior of each worker is monitored while the worker is in the secure area in order to develop an Artificial Intelligence (AI) model that is specific to each worker and is representative of at least part of the behavior of the corresponding worker in the secure area. During an operational phase, each worker that enters the secure area is identified. The behavior of each worker is monitored while the worker is in the secure area. The current behavior of each worker in the secure area is compared with the behavior represented by the AI model that corresponds to the worker. An alarm is raised when the current behavior of one or more workers diverges from the behavior represented by the AI model that corresponds to the worker.

A server generates and displays a map of a geographic region that includes a map representation of the geographic region and a plurality of asset icons each positioned at a location on the map representation that corresponds to a physical location of the corresponding asset in the geographic region. Described herein are systems and methods for interacting with access control devices. In overview, a human user physically identifies an access control device with which he/she wishes to interact, for example in the context of providing commissioning and/or configuration data. The user then makes a physical local interaction with the device, for example by way of a smartcard having predefined characteristics. This causes the access control device to enable a wireless communications protocol, thereby to allow the user to discover the device using a portable device which implements a complementary wireless communications protocol. Commissioning information is then provided by way of the portable device to the access control device in a wireless manner. Once this is complete, the access control device disables the wireless communications protocol.

Systems and methods for interacting with access control devices

Devices, methods, and systems for security log mining are described herein. One method includes combining, using a data fusion unit of an access control system, features of structured and non-structured data associated with system access events for a number of users into a combined data set, generating, using an anomaly detection engine of the access control system, a model of behavior for the number of users based on the combined data set, and comparing, using the anomaly detection engine of the access control system, real time behavior for the number of users to the model for the number of users to determine whether the real time behavior for the number of users is anomalous behavior for the number of users.

Described herein are systems and methods for managing access control devices. In overview, an access control device is configured to function on the basis of an applied set of configuration data. For example, the manner in which the device processes an access request is dependent on the configuration data. A device according to an embodiment of the present invention is configured to locally maintain plurality of uniquely applicable sets of configuration data. Each set, when applied, causes the device to function in accordance with a respective mode of operation. The device is configured to change which set of configuration data is applied in response to a predetermined command, thereby allowing the device to shift between modes of operation relatively quickly and without the need to download additional configuration data. In some cases, the modes of operation correspond to threat levels, and the use of such access control devices allows a change in threat level to be applied across an access control environment quickly and with minimal bandwidth requirements.

Systems and methods for managing access control devices

Described herein are systems and methods for access control management, these generally being directed towards location aware access control management. Embodiments of the invention have been particularly developed for providing additional functionalities in access control systems having disconnected devices, and the present disclosure is primarily focused accordingly. For example, embodiments include access control devices configured to operate in conjunction with a GPS receiver or other source of geographical positional information, and methods associated with the use of such devices.
