A solderless coaxial cable connector for securely holding coaxial cable without indentation to the cable dielectric and offering a high strength joint at the connector. A conductive cylindrical body having four annular ratchet teeth keeps the connector from rotating when mated. The small end of the body accomodates a screw sleeve or a crimp sleeve for the outer conductors of the coaxial cable connector. The large end of the body accommodates a tubular insulator with a bore for a crimp type contact for a solid or stranded center conductor of the coaxial cable. A female nut is held in place at the center portion of the body between the large diameter section and the sleeve, either crimp or screw, to act as a coupling nut when the connector is mated.

Solderless coaxial cable connector

A solderless connector having a plurality of contacts with provision for strain relief. The two-part connector has a first half in which a plurality of bifurcated contacts are disposed to extend upwardly therefrom. The second half includes wire receiving slots, a strain relief member that extends into a recess in the first member and a like plurality of tapered apertures in registration with the bifurcated contacts.

Connector

A cable connector for securely connecting an electric cable to the housing of an electric device such as a motor. The connector includes a body and a nut, the body having a rearwardly extending, elongated neck with an internal bore through which may be passed a cable or the like. The neck is externally threaded along at least a portion of its length to receive the internally threaded nut, and the wall of the neck has at least one generally U-shaped slot therethrough to provide at least one forwardly-extending ear movable radially inwardly and outwardly of the neck. The radial thickness of the at least one ear increases forwardly, with the thickness of the ear at its forward end being greater than that of the adjacent neck walls, whereby, as the nut is threaded forwardly onto the neck, the ear is cammed inwardly of the bore to firmly grasp a cable.

Variable capacitor

A variable capacitor having a ceramic stator with a flat major surface for engaging a flat conductive rotor plate mounted on a shaft extending through the stator. The other major surface of the stator has a transverse slot having a capacitance forming electrode over the bottom portion that is substantially parallel to the flat major surface. A spring biased rotor terminal is affixed to the end of the shaft extending through the stator.
