Battery node diagnostic data may be received from a battery system. One or more outlier detection machine learning models may be selected based on profile information included in the battery node diagnostic data. The profile information may identify a battery node operation profile associated with some or all of the battery node diagnostic data. One or more of the battery nodes may be identified as outliers by applying the one or more outlier detection machine learning models to identify one or more differences between first diagnostic data for the designated subset of the battery nodes and a population-level representation of the battery node diagnostic data. Outcome values may be determined by applying one or more predetermined rules to the battery node diagnostic data. A battery node may be identified as exhibiting a fault based on the designated subset of the battery nodes and the plurality of outcome values.

Artificial intelligence and machine learning architecture in a battery system

A function of a user-controlled virtual assistant (UCVA) device, such as a smart speaker, can be augmented using video or image information about an environment. In an example, a system for augmenting an UCVA device includes an image sensor configured to monitor an environment, a processor circuit configured to receive image information from the image sensor and use artificial intelligence to discern a presence of one or more known individuals in the environment from one or more other features in the environment. The system can include an interface coupled to the processor circuit and configured to provide identification information to the UCVA device about the one or more known human beings in the environment. The UCVA device can be configured by the identification information to update an operating mode of the UCVA device.

Event attendance monitoring using a virtual assistant

A seed camera disposed a first location is manually calibrated. A second camera, disposed at a second location, detects a physical marker based on predefined characteristics of the physical marker. The physical marker is located within an overlapping field of view between the seed camera and the second camera. The second camera is calibrated based on a combination of the physical location of the physical marker, the first location of the seed camera, the second location of the second camera, a first image of the physical marker generated with the seed camera, and a second image of the physical marker generated with the second camera.

Camera auto-calibration system

A machine learning model may be trained for a target battery system. Reference initialization data may be generated by a reference battery system sharing one or more characteristics with the target battery system. Synthetic training data may be generated for the target battery system by determining simulated input parameters and simulated output parameters by supplying the simulated input parameters to a physics model. Upon determining that a subset of the reference initialization data matches a subset of the synthetic training data, a trained machine learning model based on the synthetic training data is determined. The trained machine learning model may be trained to predict a state of the target battery system based at least in part on one or more observed input parameters generated by the target battery system.

Artificial intelligence-based processing can be used to classify audio information received from an audio input unit. In an example, audio information can be received from a microphone configured to monitor an environment. A processor circuit can identify identifying one or more features of the audio information received from the microphone and use a first applied machine learning algorithm to analyze the one or more features and determine whether the audio information includes an indication of an abnormal event in the environment. In an example, the processor circuit can use a different second applied machine learning algorithm, such as a neural network-based deep learning algorithm, to analyze the same one or more features and classify the audio information as including an indication of a particular event type in the environment.

Systems can be configured for detecting license plates and recognizing characters in license plates. In an example, a system can receive an image and identify one or more regions in the image that include a license plate. Character recognition can be performed in the one or more regions to determine contents of a candidate license plate. Location-specific information about a license plate format can be used together with the determined contents of the candidate license plate to determine if the recognized characters are valid.

Methods and systems for accurately recognizing vehicle license plates

Disclosed is a facial recognition system/method, utilizing modules to perform the following routine: extracting a feature descriptor from a detected feature point of a detected face in an input image frame; and matching the extracted feature descriptor with at least one of a pre-stored facial image that is index-mapped, comprising at least a first and second round of matching, wherein the second round of matching only selects the index-mapped facial images that matched above a pre-defined threshold from the first round of matching. The primary purpose of the present invention is to enable devices/machines/systems to perform an optimized video analytics on images and videos. The present invention focuses on detecting, tracking, and classifying objects in a scene. Here, the tracking is performed by comparing objects across at least two frames and then associating the objects based on a cost matrix. Driver and pedestrian safety can be aided by systems and methods to provide identification and classification of objects in a vehicle travel path. Information about classified objects can be shared with a human driver to inform the driver about potentially hazardous conditions, or the information can be interpreted automatically by an operating system of the vehicle. In an example, a camera coupled to a vehicle can receive images from an image sensor. A computer system can use machine learning and neural network-based processing to identify an object present in the images and determine whether the object is a pedestrian. In an example, the computer system can process information from a region of interest in the images that comprises less than an entire field of view in the images.

The present invention discloses methods and systems face recognition. Face recognition involves receiving an image/frame, detecting one or more faces in the image, detecting feature points for each of the detected faces in the image, aligning and normalizing the detected feature points, extracting feature descriptors based on the detected feature points and matching the extracted feature descriptors with a set of pre-stored images for face recognition.
