A lever-action tactical rifle having an upper receiver assembly having a rifle barrel and a hand-guard. A lower receiver releasably and pivotally connected with the upper receiver and having a butt-stock and a magazine receptacle releasably containing a cartridge magazine. A bolt mechanism having a bolt carrier and a bolt member and firing pin being located for reciprocating movement within the upper receiver. A lever-action mechanism is mounted to the lower receiver and is connected with the bolt carrier by an actuating linkage. The bolt member has cam slots being engaged by cam pins of the bolt carrier to translate linear movement of the bolt carrier to rotation of the bolt for bolt locking and unlocking.

A cartridge gas energized arrow gun has upper and lower receivers, with a cartridge receiving member having a cartridge chamber and a bolt locking receptacle secured to the upper receiver. An arrow supporting barrel is secured to the upper receiver and defines a chamber within which an arrow is located. Cartridge gas from a blank ammunition cartridge within the cartridge chamber is employed to propel the arrow from the barrel. A manually operated bolt and bolt carrier assembly is moveable within the upper receiver for blank cartridge handling during loading, firing, extraction and ejection of blank cartridges.

A firearm sling apparatus has a firearm connection section for attachment to a forward portion of a firearm and having a body connection section for attachment to the body of a firearm user. A releasable latching connector establishes releasable connection of the firearm connection section and the body connection section and provides for selective adjustment of strap members of the sling, permitting a user to adjust the body connection of the sling to fit the user's body anatomy and to accommodate the aiming and shooting position of the firearm. Adjustment of the sling apparatus is preferably accomplished with the user in a bipod stabilized position.
