A spinning reel includes a reel body, a handle shaft rotatably supported with respect to the reel body, a spool shaft movably supported in a front-rear direction with respect to the reel body, a reciprocator including a first gear configured to rotate in a first direction of rotation in conjunction with rotation of the handle shaft, a second gear including a gear body configured to mesh with the first gear and a first boss portion protruding from the gear body and configured to rotate in a second direction of rotation opposite to the first direction of rotation, and a slider mounted on the spool shaft and including an engagement groove with which the first boss portion is configured to engage, and a limiter disposed between the reel body and the second gear and being configured to limit rotation of the second gear in the first direction of rotation.

Spinning reel

A spinning reel includes a waterproofing structure disposed on one of first wall portion of a spool and a second wall portion of an adjustment member. The waterproofing structure is configured to prevent infiltration of water into an interior of the spool. The waterproofing structure has an annular convex portion protruding toward other one of the first wall portion of the spool and the second wall portion of the adjustment member, and an annular concave portion recessed in a direction away from other one of the first wall portion of the spool and the second wall portion of the adjustment member, and disposed on an outer side of the annular convex portion in the radial direction of the spool shaft.

A bail support mechanism includes a first bail support member, a striking member, a spring member, and an abutting surface. The abutting surface includes a first portion, a second portion, a stepped portion, and a sliding portion. The first portion is a portion that the striking member abuts when in the line guiding position. The second portion is a portion that the striking member abuts when in the line releasing position. The stepped portion is disposed between the first portion and the second portion. The sliding portion extends continuously from the first portion to the apex.

Bail support mechanism for a spinning reel

A spinning reel line clip includes an attachment portion and a clip body. The attachment portion is configured to be attached to a spool of a spinning reel. The clip body is provided for clipping a fishing line. The clip body is attached to the attachment portion. The clip body includes a line guide portion and a bulged portion. The line guide portion is formed on at least a part of a first surface of an outer circumferential part of the clip body. The first surface is opposed to the spool. The bulged portion is formed on at least a part of a second surface of the outer circumferential part. The bulged portion is opposed to the line guide portion. The second surface is oppositely disposed relative to the first surface.
