A shoe care device includes an inner cabinet that has an accommodation space configured to accommodate shoes therein, an inlet defined at a first portion of the accommodation space and configured to supply air to the accommodation space, and an outlet defined at a second portion of the accommodation space and configured to suction air from the accommodation space. The shoe care device further includes a connection path configured to circulate air between the inlet and the outlet, a blowing fan disposed at the connection path and configured to blow air from the outlet toward the inlet, a dehumidifying material disposed at the connection path and configured to dehumidify the air blown by the blowing fan, a heater configured to heat the dehumidifying material, and a regeneration path configured to guide, to a location other than the inlet, the air having passed through the dehumidifying material heated by the heater.

Drying apparatus and method of controlling same

A shoe care device includes an inner cabinet, an air supply device that is configured to blow air to an accommodated space of the inner cabinet and includes a plurality of dehumidifying materials separate from one another, and a controller configured to control the air supply device. The air supply device includes a connection path configured to circulate air between an inlet and an outlet of the inner cabinet, and a regeneration path branched from the connection path and configured to guide air having passed through at least one of the dehumidifying materials to a portion of the air supply device other than the inlet. The controller is configured to control the air supply device to selectively open and close at least one of the connection path or the regeneration path based on whether or not at least one of the dehumidifying materials is heated.

A method of controlling a refrigerator is provided. The refrigerator may include a main body having a plurality of storage chambers, a plurality of evaporators to independently cool the plurality of storage chambers, and a refrigerant control valve that controls refrigerant flow into the plurality of evaporators. The method may include opening the control valve and allowing refrigerant to flow into at least one of the plurality of evaporators, when an opening integration time of the control valve is greater than a defrost setting time of the evaporator, operating the refrigerator in a defrost mode, and, when a temperature sensed by a defrost sensor of an evaporator being defrosted is greater than return setting temperatures, terminating operation in the defrost mode. In this manner, each evaporator may be defrosted efficiently, and at a point in time at which defrosting is required.

Control method of refrigerator

There are provided a refrigerator and a method of controlling the same. When a difference between a temperature of an inside of a freezer compartment and a set temperature is referred to as a first error temperature and when a difference between a temperature of an inside of a refrigerator compartment and the set temperature is referred to as a second error temperature, the method of controlling a refrigerator includes varying stroke of an inverter linear compressor to operate the inverter linear compressor by a maximum output when the first or second error temperature is higher than a maximum output temperature and varying the stroke of the inverter linear compressor at least once in a freezer or refrigerator cycle one period to operate the inverter linear compressor when the first or second error temperature is no more than the maximum output temperature.

Refrigerator and the controlling method

There are provided a refrigerator and a method of controlling the same. The method of controlling a refrigerator includes varying stroke of an inverter linear compressor to operate the inverter linear compressor by a maximum output when a temperature of an inside of a freezer compartment or a refrigerator compartment is higher than a maximum output temperature and varying the stroke of the inverter linear compressor at one period interval to operate the inverter linear compressor when the temperature of the inside of the freezer compartment or the refrigerator compartment is no more than the maximum output temperature.

A method of controlling a refrigerator is provided in which a refrigerating chamber and a freezing chamber may be cooled at the same time the refrigerating chamber and the freezing chamber may be cooled sequentially, and a refrigerant recovery may then be performed. Accordingly, upon initial start-up of the refrigerator, a temperature within each chamber may be cooled more rapidly through simultaneous cooling. Further, when a compressor is actuated again after being off, refrigerant may be supplied to each evaporator smoothly through the refrigerant recovery. Accordingly, cooling performance of a freezing cycle may be improved.

According to a method of controlling a refrigerator in accordance with the present invention, after the refrigerating chamber and the freezing chamber are operated at the same time, refrigerant recovery is performed and the refrigerating chamber is then cooled. Accordingly, imbalance due to the pressure difference between the refrigerating chamber evaporator and the freezing chamber evaporator can be solved. Further, there is an advantage in that the refrigerating chamber can be cooled rapidly since refrigerant is supplied to the refrigerating chamber smoothly.
