An electric compressor including: a housing; a compression mechanism which compresses refrigerant within the housing; and a motor which provides a driving force to the compression mechanism. The motor includes a stator supported on the housing and a rotor rotated by interaction with the stator. The rotor includes a core in which a magnet is installed, a balance weight installed at an end of the core to adjust the rotation balance of the rotor, a cover that covers the core between the core and the balance weight, and a refrigerant flow path through which the refrigerant sequentially flows through the balance weight, the cover, and the core. As a result, it is possible to suppress the performance degradation and the loss of operational capability of the motor by suppressing the temperature rise of the magnet provided in the rotor of the motor and the consequent demagnetization phenomenon.

Electric compressor

The present disclosure relates to a 3-phase connector integrated stator and an electric compressor including the same. The 3-phase connector integrated stator includes: a stator including a plurality of teeth formed to extend from a cylindrical core, insulators coupled to the core and the teeth so as to surround outer sides of the core and the teeth, and coils wound on outer sides of the insulators at the respective teeth; a motor cover coupled to an upper insulator in a central axis direction of the stator and having a connector coupling part protruding upwardly from an upper plate; and a 3-phase connector inserted into and coupled to the connector coupling part of the motor cover and having connection pins connected to 3-phase coils of the stator. Therefore, the 3-phase connector may be easily assembled to the stator, and the connector pins may be easily assembled to the 3-phase connector.

A compressor that includes a casing, a compression mechanism provided inside the casing to compress a refrigerant, a rotary shaft transmitting a rotational force to the compression mechanism from a drive source provided outside the casing, a clutch connecting the drive source and the rotary shaft by a magnetic force generated when electric power is applied to the clutch and disconnecting the drive source and the rotary shaft by losing the magnetic force when the electric power applied thereto is cut off, and a rotation measurement means for receiving the magnetic force from the clutch to measure a change in magnetic flux according to the rotation of the rotary shaft and measure a rotational speed of the rotary shaft. Thus, it is possible to measure the rotational speed of the rotary shaft without including a permanent magnet.

Compressor

A rotor is for a permanent magnet embedded-type motor and a motor using the same. A rotor for a permanent magnet embedded-type motor includes a rotor core having a rotary shaft fixed to a center and having a plurality of magnet insertion holes formed to be spaced along a circumferential direction and a plurality of pairs of permanent magnets, respectively, inserted into each of the plurality of magnet insertion holes in a V-shape to be gradually spaced apart from each other toward a radially outer side. Each of the plurality of magnet insertion holes includes a pair of inner sides facing each other, and a barrier hole is formed to expand an inner space of each of the magnet insertion holes to protrude from the pair of inner sides, respectively.

Rotor for permanent magnet embedded-type motor and motor using the same

An electric compressor and a method of controlling the same, the electric compressor including a detection unit for detecting a phase of refrigerant in the electric compressor, a connection unit wound at a position adjacent to a passage of a housing for movement of a refrigerant in the electric compressor, and a control unit for performing control according to the phase of refrigerant by differently controlling power applied to the connection unit in response to data detected by the detection unit. The method including aligning a position of a rotor after an electric compressor is turned on, determining whether a refrigerant is in liquid phase or in gas phase, preheating the refrigerant by applying power to the electric compressor according to the phase of refrigerant, and controlling the electric compressor such that the electric compressor is normally operated after the refrigerant is preheated.

Electric compressor and method for controlling same

Disclosed herein is an electric compressor. The electric compressor includes an inverter cover which is mounted to an outer surface of a compressor housing in which compression of refrigerant is implemented, and a printed circuit board which is disposed inside the inverter cover and mounted with a plurality of heat generating elements that come into surface contact with one surface of the compressor housing and perform heat transfer with low-temperature refrigerant supplied into the compressor housing.
