Facial recognition method comprises generating an average three-dimensional model from a series of two-dimensional, consecutive, captured video frames and rotating that three-dimensional model to a frontal view. The three-dimensional model may be reduced to a two-dimensional model in order to create a mean reference map. Next, the method includes accessing a facial database to compare the mean reference map to a series of previously-stored reference maps, one for each individual in the database, each of the previously-stored reference maps including a set of previously-stored reference points. Finally, an individual whose previously-stored reference map most closely matches the mean reference map is identified as a match.

Video based facial recognition for customer verification at touchless checkout

There is disclosed methods, computing devices, and computer-readable media for printing and encoding RFID (radio frequency identification) labels. An RFID label document conforming to the Portable Document Format (PDF) is retrieved, the RFID label document including printable content and RFID encoding data embedded as metadata. The RFID encoding data is extracted from the RFID label document. Printable content of the RFID label document is displayed in a PDF viewer application. A print driver called by the PDF viewer application converts the printable content of the RFID label document into printer control language. The previously extracted RFID encoding data is incorporated into the printer control language, and the printer control language with incorporated RFID encoding data is transmitted to an RFID label printer.

System and method for extracting RFID metadata from a document

A system for rendering and outputting a non-standard colorant comprises a print driver for accepting identification of a document for output via a print operation, accepting identification of overlay data for use in the print operation, converting the overlay data into grayscale data, and generating a page description language document including data from the document divided into standard colorspace channels and an overlay colorspace channel, the overlay channels made up of the grayscale data and identified by a colorspace keyword; and a multifunction peripheral device for rendering the standard channels in standard buffers as directed by the page description language document, identifying the overlay channels using the color name keyword within the page description language document, rendering the overlay channel in an overlay buffer, and completing the print operation by outputting the contents of the standard buffers using standard colorants and the overlay buffer using an overlay colorant.

The subject application is directed to a system and method for transparent object rendering. An electronic document, inclusive of a plurality of objects, is first received. The electronic document is then parsed so as to generate a transparency table. The generated table includes entries corresponding to transparency characteristics of each of the objects. Each object of the received electronic document is then processed in accordance with a corresponding transparency table entry. The system further comprises means adapted for generating a scan-line representation of each of the plurality of objects, the scan-line representation including a scan-line corresponding to an associated backdrop and a scan-line corresponding to associated pixel data. The received electronic document is thereby rendered so as to generate a rendered document.
