Disclosed examples include a human machine interface system that having an actuator to cause artificial intelligence to execute in a virtual execution environment to generate a virtual response to a user input. The system also includes a virtual consequence evaluator to evaluate a virtual consequence that follows from the virtual response, the virtual consequence generated by executing a model of human interactions, and an output device controller to cause an output device to perform a non-virtual response to the user input when the virtual consequence evaluator evaluates the virtual consequence as positive.

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to improve boundary excursion detection. An example apparatus to improve boundary excursion detection includes a metadata extractor to parse a first control stream to extract embedded metadata, a metadata label resolver to classify a boundary term of the extracted embedded metadata, a candidate stream selector to identify candidate second control streams that include a boundary term that matches the classified boundary term of the first control stream, and a boundary vector calculator to improve boundary excursion detection by calculating a boundary vector factor based on respective ones of the candidate second control streams that include the classified boundary term.

Methods and apparatus to manage operation of variable-state computing devices using artificial intelligence are disclosed. An example computing device includes a hardware platform. The example computing device also includes an artificial intelligence (AI) engine to: determine a context of the device; and adjust an operation of the hardware platform based on an expected change in the context of the device. The adjustment modifies at least one of a computational efficiency of the device, a power efficiency of the device, or a memory response time of the device.

Methods and apparatus to manage operation of variable-state computing devices using artificial intelligence

A self-equalizing interconnect in a connector is installed in a microelectronic device. The self-equalizing interconnect is formed of a plurality of electrically conductive layers under conditions to offset skin-effect losses with respect to frequency change during operation. Each successive layer is configured to with the next highest electrical conductivity and subsequent electrically conductive films gradually decrease in electrical conductivity. In an embodiment, thickness of the conductive film adjacent the reference plain is configured thinnest and subsequent films are added and are seriatim gradually thicker. The highest electrically conductive film is configured closest to a reference plane in the connector, and the lowest electrically conductive film is farthest from the reference plane.

Multiple-layer, self-equalizing interconnects in package substrates

Apparatuses, methods, and systems associated with safety-related decision making reporting and regulation of computer-assisted or autonomous driving (CA/AD) vehicles are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a safety-related decision making reporting unit, disposed in a CA/AD vehicle, to collect data about driving behavior of the CA/AD vehicle and to determine whether the collected data is related to a safety-related decision making rule. In embodiments, the collected data is to be reported to a remote organization associated with regulating the safety-related decision making rule. In some embodiments, a computing device or server associated with regulating safety-related decision making rules receives the collected data from the CA/AD vehicle and/or manufacturers of the CA/AD vehicle. In embodiments, the computing device analyzes the collected data to modify or generate a safety-decision making rule. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

An apparatus is described herein. The apparatus includes a plurality of conductors, wherein at least one conductor is a common-mode conductor. The apparatus also includes an encoder to encode data to be transmitted on the plurality of conductors, wherein a data speed of the common-mode conductor is limited and a data speed of other conductors is maximized according to an encoding matrix.

Techniques for decoding encoded data are described herein. An example of a device in accordance with the present techniques includes a receiving signaling module coupled to a plurality of signal lines. The signaling module includes a receiver to receive a plurality of encoded line voltages or currents on the plurality of signal lines of a bus, wherein each one of the plurality of encoded line voltages corresponds to a weighted sum of data. The signaling module includes a comparator to determine the voltage level of each line at a unit interval and convert the voltage level to a digital value. The signaling module includes a lookup table correlating the digital value with a digital bit stream.

Techniques for encoding data are described herein. An example of a device in accordance with the present techniques includes a signaling module coupled to a plurality of digital inputs. The signaling module is to encode data received at the plurality of digital inputs to generate encoded data. Based on the encoded data, the signaling module can drive line voltages on a plurality of signal lines of a bus. Each one of the plurality of line voltages corresponds to a weighted sum of the data received at the plurality of digital inputs.

Provided herein are different embodiments for performing radio frequency interference (RFI) mitigation in electronic devices such as mobile computing systems. In some embodiments, a dynamic RFI mitigation scheme allows for monitoring of wireless channels for RFI and to adaptively shift an identified RFI source (e.g., system clock) harmonics, e.g., either out of the on-channels or to a neutral position within the on-channels such as by using cost-function analysis.

A method of sensing radio frequency interference (RFI) in a wireless system is provided. The method includes receiving wireless data through a wireless receiver and evaluating received wireless data through a receiver baseband module to identify an occurrence of a signal detection failure by a physical (PHY) layer or a media access control (MAC) layer of the wireless system. The method also includes triggering a radio frequency interference sensing state in response to the occurrence of signal detection failure by the physical layer or the media access control layer of the wireless system.

In some embodiments an adaptive clocking controller determines a clock spread of a system clock that would result in a lowest total interference between a channel received by a radio receiver and the system clock.
