A method for storing an image of a vehicle black box comprises: an image input step for inputting an image through a camera module; a temporary storage step for temporarily storing the inputted image in a temporarily processing unit, which consumes relatively low power, and allowing an event processing unit, which consumes relatively high power, to be in a sleep state or a power-off state; and an event storage step for allowing the event processing unit to be returned from the sleep state or the power-off state and storing in the event processing unit an image for the event from the time of the event occurrence up until before a predetermined time and from the time of the event occurrence up until after a predetermined time.

Method for storing image of vehicle black box

MPEG2 transport decoder

An audio/video synchronizer for a digital TV is disclosed including: a system decoder for parsing an input data packet and outputting compressed data of audio and video signals and PTS/DTS and PCR or SCR; an audio/video decoder for decoding the compressed data output from the system decoder, outputting a DTS for the video or audio frame to be decoded, and outputting a decoding ready signal indicating that decoding of the video or audio frame is finished, and a PTS of corresponding data; a frame memory for storing the audio/video data from the audio/video decoder; a clock generator for dividing an input clock into a predetermined value to generate horizontal and vertical sync signals and a PCM clock of the audio signal; an audio/video playing portion for playing the data decoded in the audio/video decoder according to the decoding ready signal in synchronization with the vertical and horizontal sync signals from the clock generator and the audio PCM clock, and outputting the PTS of a picture played and the audio frame; and a PTS/DTS controller for comparing the PTS input from the audio/video playing portion or the DTS from the audio/video decoder with the PCR or SCR input from the system decoder, thereby controlling the audio/video decoder and audio/video playing portion according to their difference.

An apparatus for preventing illegal copying of a digital broadcasting signal, comprises a transmission section for generating a copy prevention signal to determine a display time of each field of a digital video signal on a screen, compressing the digital video signal and the copy prevention signal, modulating the compressed copy prevention signal and digital video signal into the digital broadcasting signal and transmitting the digital broadcasting signal through a transmitting antenna, and a reception section for receiving the digital broadcasting signal transmitted from the transmission section through a receiving antenna, demodulating the received digital broadcasting signal into the digital video signal, expanding the demodulated digital video signal, detecting the copy prevention signal from the expanded digital video signal, generating horizontal and vertical synchronous signals in response to the detected copy prevention signal and displaying the expanded digital video signal on the screen synchronously with the generated horizontal and vertical synchronous signals.

Apparatus for preventing illegal copying of a digital broadcasting signal

A variable length coder and a variable length decoder. The variable length coder comprises a plurality of shifters, each of which inputs a corresponding one of a plurality of codewords and a plurality of codelengths, rotates the corresponding codeword by a desired length for interconnection of the codewords and outputs masking bits designating a position of the corresponding codeword to be rotated, a first OR gate for ORing output codewords from the shifters, a second OR gate for ORing output masking bits from the shifters, a word/mask register for latching output codeword bits from the first OR gate when corresponding output masking bits from the second OR gate are enabled to '1', and an FIFO memory for storing an output of the word/mask register and outputting variable length-coded data. The variable length decoder comprises a data shifter for shifting input data in response to a previous codelength and a matching signal, a decoding circuit for discriminating a matched state of output data from the data shifter according to the previous codelength to generate a current codelength, the matching signal and a decoded word, and a shift controller for controlling a shifting amount of the data shifter in response to the current codelength and the matching signal from the decoding circuit and outputting the previous codelength.

Variable length coder and variable length decoder

A motion compensator for restoring a digital image which includes a motion compensating controller for receiving motion vector data and outputting control signals, a data interface for shifting input data, first and second field motion compensators for interpolating and performing motion compensation for field vectors, a frame motion compensator for interpolating and performing motion compensation for frame vector data, and a first multiplexer for selecting the motion compensated signal to be output, such that receiving data of a motion search area is processed in multitude and the motion compensation is processed in real time.

Motion compensator for digital image restoration

A scanning format converting circuit for converting video signals of the interlaced scanning form involving flickers into those of the progressive scanning form free of flickers using motion vectors included in the video signals. In addition to a general decoding construction, the scanning format converting circuit includes an additional motion compensating unit and an additional frame memory. The additional motion compensating unit serves to motion-compensate input video data sent from frame memories using motion vectors and thereby derives data to be interpolated so that the video data of the interlaced scanning form is converted into those of the progressive scanning form.
