A method of managing distributed self-organizing network and base station is disclosed. The base station includes but not limited to a transmitter, a receiver, and a processor coupled to the transmitter and the receiver. The processor is configured at least to: create a management interface for receiving configuration information from surrounding base stations; subscribe the configuration information and store the configuration information into a table; receive, via the receiver through the management interface, the configuration information from a base station of the surrounding base stations; update the table based on the configuration information received from the base station of the surrounding base stations; and execute a distributed self-organizing network (DSON) algorithm comprising one of capacity and coverage optimization (CCO) algorithm, automatic neighbor relation (ANR) algorithm, and physical cell id (PCI) algorithm.

Method of managing distributed self-organizing network by surrounding base station information and base station using the same

A method, a device, and a system for measuring physiological state information based on channel state information are provided. The method includes: respectively transmitting, by at least two transmitting antennas of a transmitter, a measurement signal. Respectively receiving, by at least two receiving antennas of a receiver, a reflected signal reflected the measurement signal through a target object. Obtaining, by the receiver, channel state information (CSI) between the transmitting antennas and the receiving antennas according to the reflected signals. Receiving, by a computing device, the CSI transmitted by the receiver and obtaining physiological state information of the target object according to the CSI.

Method, device and system for measuring physiological state information based on channel state information

A method for gathering small cells is provided. In the method, an instruction gathering device gathers connections of the small cells for transmitting control packets, and provides at least two virtual cells to process the connections. When a user device switches the connection to another small cell, the instruction gathering device also assigns another virtual cell to process the control packets related to the user device. The virtual cells partially replace contents of the control packets before forwarding the control packets.

Method for gathering small cells

A packet processing method adapted to a software-defined network is provided. The packet processing method includes the following steps: receiving an upstream packet transmitted to a remote network from a user equipment; removing a tunnel header of the upstream packet, and transmitting the upstream packet to the remote network; receiving a downstream packet transmitted to the user equipment from the remote network; selecting one of a plurality of routing paths coupled to the user equipment to transmit the downstream packet; and adding a tunnel header corresponding to the selected routing path to the downstream packet, and transmitting the downstream packet to the user equipment through the selected routing path.

Packet processing method for software-defined network

A gateway, system and method for multiple radio access technology service are provided. The gateway is between base stations and a core network, including a receiving module, determining module and processing module. The receiving module receives a packet from the base stations or the core network through a tunnel between the base stations and the core network. The determining module determines whether the packet has a virtual IP header. If the packet has a virtual IP header, the processing module deletes the virtual IP header and replaces it with a tunnel header to transmit the packet to the core network through the tunnel by the tunnel header. If the packet has no virtual IP header, the processing module forwards the packet to the core network through the tunnel. The disclosure enhances transmitting and processing performance of the packet when the packet is transmitted through only a single tunnel.

Gateway, system and method for multiple radio access technology service

A controlling method, a controller and a packet processing method for a software-defined network (SDN) are provided. The controlling method includes the following steps: receiving a registration message from a user equipment (UE), wherein the registration message includes a network access status of the UE; selecting a switch of the SDN as an aggregation entity (AE) for the UE according to the network access status; calculating a plurality of routing paths between the UE and the AE, wherein each routing path is coupled to one of a plurality of network interfaces of the UE; and setting flow entries in the AE and each switch in the routing paths for routing packets between the UE and a remote network.

Control method, controller and packet processing method for software-defined network

A software defined network (SDN) and a corresponding mobility management method and a corresponding controller are provided. The SDN includes a controller, a plurality of switches and a plurality of edge devices. The controller manages a topology and routing actions of the SDN. When a user equipment (UE) attaches to a target edge device in the edge devices, the target edge device transmits a notification message to the controller. The controller updates flow entries in the switches and the edge devices according to the notification message.

Software defined network and mobility management method and controller thereof

A method and a system for data traffic offload are provided. The method includes the following steps. Create a local tunnel between a first base station and a second base station according to a first record and/or a second record. The first base station and the second base station are located on a front-end network. The first record corresponds to a first user equipment and the first base station. The second record corresponds to a second user equipment and the second base station. Route network packets transmitted between the first user equipment and the second user equipment via the local tunnel.

Method and system for data traffic offload

A selection method for transmitting network packets adapted to be executed by a multiple-interface network device is provided. The multiple-interface network device includes a plurality of network interfaces. Each of the network interfaces connects to one of multiple communication networks. The selection method includes the following steps: collecting a transmission status of each of the communication networks; analyzing transmission characteristics of a predetermined number of packets of a service flow to determine a traffic pattern type of the service flow; comparing the transmission status of each of the communication networks with the transmission requirements of the traffic pattern type of the service flow to select one of the network interfaces, and using the selected network interface to transmit packets of the service flow. The service flow is constituted by packets transmitted by the network interfaces through a port and packets received by the network interfaces through the same port.

Multiple-interface network device and selection method for transmitting network packets

A call setup method is provided for a MVPN which includes at least one access point apparatus, at least one database, and a plurality of users. The database records a private extension number, a user phone number, and a user identity module of each user and a link address of the corresponding access point apparatus. The access point apparatus corresponding to a MO user receives a call setup request message for setting up a call with a MT user from the MO user. The access point apparatus corresponding to the MO user determines whether the link address of the access point apparatus corresponding to the MT user is valid according to the database. If the link address of the access point apparatus corresponding to the MT user is valid, the MO user and the MT user set up the call through the access point apparatuses corresponding to the link addresses.

Call setup method for mobile virtual private network and access point apparatus thereof

A wireless communication system, a routing method for a packet switched service, and a Femto AP (FAP) using the routing method are provided. The wireless communication system may include a core network, a broadband IP network, a FAP and at least a user equipment (UE). The UE connects the core network through the FAP and the broadband IP network. The routing method is as follows. The FAP may evaluate a request of the packet switched service sent by the UE, and may reply an accept message to the UE. The accept message may include a FAP address. The UE may use the FAP address to send a packet switching data to the FAP in order to obtain the packet switched service. The FAP may directly conduct the packet switched service with a packet switched service supply end through the broadband IP network without routing through the core network.
