Presented herein are cancer peptide agents and uses thereof for treating cancer and/or inhibiting metastasis. Also presented herein are methods of treating cancer, or inhibiting metastasis of cancer in a subject, comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a composition comprising one or more cancer peptide agents to the subject. Also presented herein is a method of treating a cancer in a subject, or inhibiting metastasis of a cancer in a subject that comprises administering a therapeutically effective amount of a composition comprising one or more cancer peptide agents, and administering a chemotherapy or chemotherapeutic agent.

Peptides and uses thereof for treating cancer

The invention provides a pharmaceutical composition including a peptide comprising at least a portion of a chemokine receptor or a G-protein coupled receptor and optionally a cytokine. The pharmaceutical composition of the invention may be used for altering immune system functioning, for example, to treat an immune system disorder, such as an autoimmune disease, multiple sclerosis, transplant rejection, psoriasis and asthma. The invention also provides peptides that may be used in the pharmaceutical composition and a method for preparing the pharmaceutical composition of the invention. The invention further provides a method for to treating an immune system disorder, such as an autoimmune disease, multiple sclerosis, transplant rejection, and psoriasis asthma.

Cytokine receptor peptides, compositions thereof and methods thereof

Disclosed are binding agents that include (a) a calcium binding portion which includes an F-helix peptide and a calcium binding loop peptide derived from an EF-hand motif of a calcium binding protein, wherein the C-terminus of the F-helix peptide is covalently linked to the N-terminus of the calcium binding loop peptide by a peptide bond, and (b) a targeting peptide, wherein the N-terminus of the targeting peptide is covalently linked to the C-terminus of the calcium binding portion by a peptide bond. The binding agents can be used for diagnosis and treatment of various disorders.
