A lighting fixture includes a first housing portion and a second housing portion. The first housing portion includes a base and a wall extending outwardly from substantially the perimeter of the base. A top portion of the wall includes one or more hinges extending outwardly therefrom. The second housing portion includes a front panel and a side panel extending outwardly from substantially the perimeter of the front panel. A top portion of the front panel includes at least one slot. The second housing is coupled to the first housing in an open position when the hinge is inserted into the slot and the front panel is disposed elevationally above the base. The second housing is coupled to the first housing in an operational position when the hinge is inserted into the slot and the front panel covers the base.

A luminaire comprises a light fixture that includes a housing. The housing includes a light emitting diode (LED) light source and a back wall that has a first surface shape. The luminaire further comprises a mounting system that includes a tie rod that has a first end that includes a plurality of teeth. The mounting system also includes a mounting plate rotatably coupled to the tie rod. The mounting plate is coupled to the back wall of the housing. The mounting plate has a second surface shape, where the first surface shape and the second surface shape are substantially the same.

The present disclosure provides an LED luminaire capable of providing full cutoff illumination in a base configuration, without the addition of reflectors or refractors. The LED luminaire is also interchangeably couplable to one or more different reflectors and refractors. In certain example embodiments, the present disclosure provides a dusk to dawn luminaire operable as a full cutoff luminaire in a base configuration and which is also compatible with an American Nation Standards Institute (ANSI) dusk to dawn reflector/refractor assembly. In an example embodiment, the LED luminaire also includes a housing with a front pivoting door configured to swing away from a mounting structure when opened.

A luminaire comprises a light fixture that includes a housing. The housing includes a light emitting diode (LED) light source and a back wall that has a first surface shape. The luminaire further comprises a mounting system that includes a surface mounting bracket, or a tie rod that has a first end that includes a plurality of teeth. The mounting system also includes a mounting plate rotatably coupled to the surface mounting bracket or to the tie rod. The mounting plate is coupled to the back wall of the housing. The mounting plate has a second surface shape, where the first surface shape and the second surface shape are substantially the same.

The present disclosure provides devices and techniques for a reversible mounting bracket. The reversible mounting bracket includes a pole mounting side and a wall mounting side. The pole mounting side and the wall mounting side are joined together at approximately 90&#xb0;. When used to mount a fixture, such as a light fixture, to a wall, the wall mounting side is mounted to a wall, and the pole mounting side provides support for the fixture. When used to mount a fixture to a pole, the pole mounting side is mounted to a pole, and the wall mounting side provides support for the fixture. Thus, the same reversible mounting bracket can be used to mount a fixture to a pole or to a wall.
