Systems and methods for providing content in a virtual space are presented herein. The content may be generated in the virtual space by a non-player game entity. The non-player game entity may be associated with generating a particular type of content in the virtual space. The users may deploy the non-player game entities in the virtual space in order to generate the corresponding non-player game entity-generated content in the virtual space. The non-player game entity-generated content may be implemented through procedural placement of elements of the content within the virtual space. The non-player game entity-generated content comprise one or more of static content, moving content, interactive content (e.g., a game), and/or other types of content.

Objectives, an environment, and/or a theme associated with a virtual space may be managed based on characters made accessible responsive to corresponding tokens being detected. The obtained information may include information indicating one or more actions and/or effects associated with the virtual space entities. Users may be enabled to specify action connections between actions of different virtual space entities. The user specified action connections may provide causal relationships between a first action and a first effect associated with a second action. Occurrence of the first action within a given instance of virtual space may be determined. Based on the user specified action connections, the first effect may be executed to cause the second action to be performed in the virtual space.
