A flexible mower deck includes a center deck with a plurality of belt driven pulleys for rotating a plurality of rotary cutting blades under the center deck. A wing deck is pivotably attached to each of the first and second ends. A motor on each wing deck rotates a rotary cutting blade by actuating a switch in an operator station to pivot each wing deck to a mowing position.

Flexible mower deck

A flexible mower deck includes a center deck with a plurality of rotary cutting blades rotated by a belt engaging a driven pulley for each blade. A first wing deck and a second wing deck are pivotably attached to a first end and a second end of the center deck. Each of the wing decks are pivotable between a lowered mowing position and a raised transport position. A height of cut mechanism on each of the first and second wing decks raises and lowers the wing deck and includes a four bar caster wheel level mechanism holding a caster wheel sleeve in front of the wing deck in vertical alignment at any height of cut.

A height of cut and rake adjustment system for a rough, trim and surround mower deck with a pair of front height of cut arms and a pair of rear height of cut arms. Each height of cut arm is pivotably mounted to the mower deck on a pivot axis below an upper end of each height of cut arm. An adjustable height of cut linkage extends between the upper end of each front height of cut arm and the upper end of each rear height of cut arm. An adjustable rake linkage extends between the upper end of each front height of cut arm and an intermediate portion of each rear height of cut arm below the pivot axis.

A rotary cutting deck height of cut adjustment mechanism includes a front pair of height of cut arms and a rear pair of height of cut arms, each height of cut arm pivotably mounted at an angle to a rotary cutting deck. A height of cut rod extends between a front height of cut arm and a rear height of cut arm on each side of the deck. A height of cut adjustment screw is rotatable to extend or retract each height of cut rod. A linkage is provided between the pair of height of cut adjustment screws, so that the angle of the height of cut arms may be adjusted from a single point.
