A system for providing clinical decision support during a clinical encounter with a patient includes a mobile computing device and a remote computing device communicatively coupled to and remotely located from the mobile computing device, the remote computing device configured to receive clinical data during the clinical encounter from a medical device associated with the patient, provide a first interactive display including the clinical data, enable the mobile computing device to access the clinical data, receive user input based on the clinical data from the mobile computing device, and provide the user input and the clinical data at the first interactive display, where the mobile computing device is configured to access the clinical data, provide the clinical data at a second interactive display, prompt a user for the user input based on the clinical data via the second interactive display, and transmit the user input to the remote computing device.

Systems and methods for EMS device communications interface

A system for providing role-based data feeds for a plurality of patient caregivers includes a portable central device and a patient data display screen. The central device is configured to obtain the medical data via one or more sensors and/or electrodes configured to couple to the patient and provide the medical data to mobile devices, optionally as multiple role-based data feeds. The central device may include software and hardware configured to feed the medical data to the mobile devices via multiple role-based data feeds. The patient data display screen is configured to display the medical data. Each mobile device may identify an associated type of medical data by displaying a screen enabling a caregiver to select the associated type of medical data based on their role, or may receive a respective role-based data feed from the central device. Each mobile device is configured to display the received medical data.

A patient monitoring device is described that includes a wireless transceiver, an asset management database, and a processor communicably coupled to the wireless transceiver and the asset management database and configured to receive patient monitoring information gathered by the patient monitoring device, format the patient monitoring information into a plurality of frames, each frame of the plurality of frames associated with an incident identifier that identifies an emergency medical services (EMS) incident during which the patient monitoring information was gathered, store the plurality of frames to the asset management database, separately retrieve one or more frames of the plurality of frames from the asset management database based on the incident identifier, and provide one or more retrieved set of one or more frames to the wireless transceiver for transmission.

A method for tracking interactions in an emergency response environment according to embodiments of the present invention includes receiving color images and depth information from within a field of view of a sensor array; maintaining an emergency encounter record; monitoring one or both of a position of an object and movement of the object in the emergency response environment based on the color images and depth information received by the sensor array; and recording an occurrence of a condition in the emergency encounter record, wherein the condition is based on the one or both of the position of the object and the movement of the object.

Systems and methods for three-dimensional interaction monitoring in an EMS environment

A method for vehicle data management according to embodiments of the present invention includes receiving an accelerometer signal from an accelerometer mounted in a vehicle, determining an accelerometer specific force based on the accelerometer signal, receiving a speed signal from a speed sensor or GPS or other source on the vehicle, wherein the speed signal indicates a speed of the vehicle, determining an instantaneous acceleration of the vehicle by calculating a rate of change of the speed based on the speed signal, selecting a current observed acceleration as a lower value of the accelerometer specific force and the instantaneous acceleration, capturing video footage with a camera mounted on the vehicle, and flagging the video footage corresponding to a time when the current observed acceleration exceeds a preset safe force value.
