A surgical system includes an ultrasound device and a surgical instrument. The ultrasound device includes a shaft having a body defining a longitudinal axis and including a lumen extending coaxially therethrough, and an ultrasound sensor assembly configured to enable ultrasound imaging of a field of view. The ultrasound sensor assembly is disposed at a distal end portion of the body of the shaft, offset relative to the longitudinal axis, and oriented such that the field of view is offset relative to the longitudinal axis. The surgical instrument is configured for removable insertion through the lumen of the body of the shaft and to extend distally from the distal end portion of the body of the shaft.

Endoluminal robotic systems and corresponding methods include subsystems for visualization, navigation, pressure sensing, platform compatibility, and user interfaces. A collection system for collecting outflow from a hysteroscopic surgical procedure includes a plurality of collection vessels each including a flexible body defining an internal volume and transitionable between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration. The collection system further includes connection tubing coupling adjacent collection vessels with one another, outflow tubing coupled to at least one of the collection vessels, and a plurality of retention canisters. Each retention canister includes a rigid body. Each collection vessel is configured to engage a corresponding retention canister such that each rigid body at least partially receives one of the flexible bodies therein.

A method of treating a gynecological malignancy includes introducing an implant within a uterus of a patient and positioning the implant adjacent to an endometrium of the uterus to enable a bioactive agent supported on the implant to treat the gynecological malignancy. The implant may be one or more deployable implants including a balloon, an IUD, a stent, or combinations thereof. Such implants may be introduced by one or more surgical instruments.

A tissue biopsy device includes an input configured to receive a rotational input and to rotate in a first direction in response thereto, an outer tube, and an inner cutting member extending through the outer tube. An infusion catheter includes a housing, a proximal shaft assembly, a first distal shaft assembly and a second distal shaft assembly. The housing has one or more inflation ports and one or more infusion ports. The proximal shaft assembly supports a first balloon. The first distal shaft assembly extends distally from the proximal shaft assembly and supports a first distal balloon. The second distal shaft assembly extends distally from the proximal shaft assembly and supports a second distal balloon. The first and second distal shaft assemblies define infusion openings in fluid communication with the one or more infusion ports. The infusion catheter may be inserted into a uterine cavity to occlude tubal ostia and an internal cervical OS of the uterine cavity for sealing the uterine cavity. A therapeutic agent may be delivered through the infusion catheter and into the sealed uterine cavity to treat the uterine cavity.

Methods and devices for transcervical treatment of endometrial cancer and hyperplasia

A collection system for collecting outflow from a hysteroscopic surgical procedure includes a collection vessel and a mounting stand. The collection vessel defines an internal volume and includes a top portion and a bottom portion. The collection vessel is transitionable between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration. The mounting stand includes an upper retainer and a lower retainer. The upper retainer of the mounting stand is configured to retain the top portion of the collection vessel and the lower retainer of the mounting stand is configured to retain the bottom portion of the collection vessel. The upper and lower retainers are configured to retain the collection vessel thereon in the expanded configuration.
