A removable lock core for use with a lock device having a locked state and an unlocked state is disclosed. The removeable lock core may include a cam member tailpiece which is moveable between a first position relative to a lock core body which corresponds to the lock device being in the locked state and a second position relative to a lock core body which permits removal of the removeable lock core from the lock device which corresponds to the lock device being in the unlocked state. The removeable lock core may include an electro-mechanical drive assembly which in a disengaged state is decoupled from the cam member tailpiece and in an engaged state is coupled to the cam member tailpiece. A cam lock having a locked state and an unlocked state for use with a catch is disclosed.

A cylindrical door lock including a latch bolt, a cam assembly operable to move the latch bolt from a first position to a second position, a support at least partially surrounding the cam assembly, an operator actuatable input device operatively coupled to the latch bolt through the cam assembly, a retainer coupling the operator actuatable input device to the support and being moveable between a hold position and a remove position, a removable lock core positioned at least partially within the operator actuatable input device, a throw member operatively coupled with the lock core and the cam assembly to actuate the cam assembly based on a position of the operator actuatable input device, and a stabilizer positioned at least partially within the support and posterior to the lock core.

A control module for a motorized door lock assembly includes a mounting bracket that is electrically connected to the door lock with wiping electrical terminals, and a housing with counterpart wiping electrical terminals that are electrically connected to a battery subassembly and an electric circuit. As a result, the battery subassembly and electric circuit can be quickly connected to the door lock merely by sliding the housing over the mounting bracket. Accordingly, the need for complicated and expensive connection systems is eliminated. Such an array of mutual wiping terminals also makes it possible to use the force of gravity to jettison the housing and its contents from the door lock in the event of a fire.

A latchbolt assembly includes a solid latchbolt having at least a first surface, a second surface and a third surface and an anti-friction bolt pivotally coupled to the solid latchbolt. The anti-friction bolt includes a cross member disposed adjacent the first surface of the solid latchbolt and a pair of plates depending from the cross member to form a U-shaped cross section. The plates are disposed adjacent the second and third surfaces of the solid latchbolt.

A spring force indicator for a door closure having a spring force adjuster comprises a drive wheel coupled to the spring force adjuster for rotation therewith and a driven wheel. The driven wheel includes a disc and a post extending from the disc, the post being disposed in a bore formed in a front surface of the door closure and adapted to engage the drive wheel for rotation therewith. A cover being disposed on the end of the door closure and configured to cover the drive wheel and the driven wheel. The cover includes a sidewall, a central aperture for receiving the spring force adjuster, a second aperture disposed between the central aperture and the sidewall, and second indicia disposed around the second aperture. The disc includes first indicia visible through the second aperture which cooperates with the second indicia to indicate a measure of spring force.

A lock assembly includes an exterior lockset that includes an exterior operator handle. An interior lockset includes an interior operator assembly and a control electronics module. An outer spindle is operatively coupled to a latch assembly and is drivably coupled to the interior operator assembly. A locking mechanism is operatively coupled to a drive assembly, and includes a coupling mechanism and a locking spindle assembly. The coupling mechanism is configured to selectively couple the exterior operator handle to the outer spindle. The locking spindle assembly is configured to operate the coupling mechanism to transition from a locked condition to an unlocked condition by an actuation of the drive assembly. A lock position sensor is located in the interior lockset and is communicatively coupled to the control electronics module. The lock position sensor is configured to sense whether the coupling mechanism is in the locked condition or the unlocked condition.

A lock assembly includes an exterior operator assembly, an interior operator assembly, and a latch assembly. An outer spindle is operatively coupled to a latch assembly, is drivably coupled to the interior operator assembly, and has a longitudinal bore. A coupling mechanism is coupled to the outer spindle. A locking spindle assembly is rotatably received in the longitudinal bore, and is configured to selectively operate the coupling mechanism to couple the exterior operator assembly to the outer spindle upon actuation of a drive assembly. The locking spindle assembly has a fire compliant component made of a first material that melts during a fire to prevent operation of the latch assembly with the exterior operator assembly, and has a fire resistant component made of a second material and configured to block the longitudinal bore of the outer spindle to aid in preventing the spread of the fire through the door.

A lock assembly includes a mounting fire plate configured for attachment to the door. A first lockset includes a lockset fire plate and a first operator assembly having a first operator handle. The first operator assembly is mounted to the lockset fire plate. At least one fusible link is configured to releasably couple the lockset fire plate of the first lockset to the mounting fire plate. The at least one fusible link is configured to melt during a fire condition to release the lockset fire plate from the mounting fire plate to facilitate a separation of the first lockset including the lockset fire plate from the mounting fire plate and the door by force of gravity.

A lock assembly includes a coupling mechanism connected to a spindle assembly. The coupling mechanism has an outer sleeve having a longitudinal interior opening that extends along a first axis. An operator handle includes a proximal lock core opening, and a distal shaft portion having an axial opening configured to receive the outer sleeve. The distal shaft portion and the outer sleeve are configured to define a through path oriented across the longitudinal interior opening of the outer sleeve. A portion of the through path at the outer sleeve is configured to threadably receive a setscrew to fasten the operator handle to the outer sleeve. A keyed lock core has a tailpiece that is positioned in the longitudinal interior opening of the outer sleeve to obstruct the through path and block access to the setscrew via the through path to prevent unauthorized removal of the operator handle.
