A manufacturing process that includes spray-drying a liquid composition based on liquid residues derived from a chemical extraction of clinker to form a material with a high specific surface area. Also, a material based on clinker residues having a high specific surface area ranging from 200 m.gto 900 m.gand a mesopore size ranging from 2 nm to 50 nm. Further, the use of a material having a high specific surface area for the absorption of pollutants species.

The invention relates to a nanostructured porous oxyfluoride film deposited onto a substrate, to a method for its production, and also to various applications. The oxyfluoride has a porous semicrystalline structure and a refractive index of 1.08 to 1.25, measured in the visible range for a relative humidity level below 80%. A mesostructured aluminosilicate material is described, constituted by at least two spherical elementary particles, each of said spherical particles being constituted by a matrix based on silicon oxide and aluminum oxide, having a pore size in the range 1.5 to 30 nm, a Si/Al molar ratio of at least 1, having amorphous walls with a thickness in the range 1 to 20 nm, said spherical elementary particles having a maximum diameter of 10 &#x3bc;m. A process for preparing said material and its application in the fields of refining and petrochemistry are also described.
