An integrated inductor comprising a multi-winding inductor having a transformer winding (L) and a resonant inductor (L). Sections (I), () of the magnetic circuit of the transformer winding (L) are incorporated into magnetic circuits of at least two parts (LA), (LB) of a resonant inductor (L) so as to form common parts of magnetic circuit of the multi-winding inductor (L) and at least two-part (LA), (LB) resonant inductor (L), wherein the transformer winding (L) of the multi-winding inductor is wound around a column (II), which has at least one air gap (G) having a width adapted so that the magnetic induction produced by the at least two-part (LA), (LB) resonant inductor (L) does not exceed 25% of the magnetic induction produced by the transformer winding (L) of the multi winding inductor.

A contactless energy transfer circuit, comprising a magnetic receiving element (EMO) comprising a reactance receiving element (L) configured to receive magnetic field energy from an integrated reactance module comprising a magnetic element (EM) and a plurality of coaxial windings of reactance power elements (L), (L) . . . (LN), separated from each other by means of magnetic flux conductors (SM) constituting an integral part of the magnetic element (EM), which is configured to concentrate magnetic field lines generated by the reactance power elements (L), (L) . . . (LN), wherein the outermost winding of reactance power elements (L) is situated outside the magnetic element (EM) and the other windings of reactance power elements (L), (L) . . . (LN) are situated inside the magnetic element (EM), wherein the magnetic receiving element (EMO) is separated from the magnetic element (EM) by an insulating spacer (I).

Integrated reactance module

A resonant-mode power supply, comprising an assembly of switches connected in a bridge or a half-bridge configuration, a series resonant circuit connected in the bridge or half bridge diagonal, a part of which is formed by a multi-winding inductor by means of which a load is connected, and a controller configured to stabilize output voltages or currents by controlling the switching frequency of the assembly of switches. The series resonant circuit comprises an energy recirculation circuit (ERC) for limiting the resonant circuit quality factor, connected through the diode rectifier (DR) to the supply voltage node and a current monitoring circuit (CMC) configured to monitor the recirculation circuit current (Ilim) and, by means of the controller (C), to change the switching frequency of the assembly of switches (K, K, K, K) in order to reduce power supplied to the resonant circuit upon exceeding the threshold value by the current (Ilim) in the energy recirculation circuit (ERC).

Resonant-mode power supply with a multi-winding inductor

A method for controlling a resonant-mode power supply, the resonant-mode power supply comprising an assembly of switches (K, K, K, K), between which a resonant circuit with an output load is connected, and a controller (C) configured to stabilize output voltages or currents by controlling switching frequency of the assembly of switches (K, K, K, K) in response to the output of a slow-response monitoring circuit (SMC) configured to monitor the output voltage or current and having a certain time (&#x3c4;) of response to changes of value of the output voltage or current. The power supply further comprises an energy recirculation circuit (ERC) in which the current (Ilim) is monitored by means of a fast-response monitoring circuit (CMC) having a time (&#x3c4;) of response to changes in the (Ilim) current faster than the response time (&#x3c4;) of the slow-response monitoring circuit (SMC). The method involves adjusting, via the controller (C), the switching frequency of the assembly of switches (K, K, K, K) such as to reduce the power supplied to the resonant circuit upon exceeding a threshold value by the current (Ilim).

Method for controlling a resonant-mode power supply and a resonant-mode power supply with a controller

Subject of the invention is a multi-resonance power supply with integral quality factor limiter, designated for transformation of direct voltages, characterised by high immunity to overload and rapid load changes. The power supply has the (TS) isolating transformer, with its primary winding connected to the main (OR) resonant circuit having at least one node connected with the set of (K), (K) current switches, via the serial resonant circuit, whereby at least one component of the serial resonant circuit is connected to the (DON) diode voltage limiter.
