A fiber mixture of natural fibers and binder fibers are blown from a storage container onto a first transport belt with a three-dimensional alignment of the fibers resulting in a fiber fleece. Thermally activatable synthetic resin granules are blown onto the fiber fleece and the fleece is defibered and remixed. The remixed fiber mixture is blown onto a second transport belt with a three-dimensional alignment of the fibers resulting in a mat. The thickness of the mat is obtained by the circulating speed of the second transport belt. The mat is transferred to an oven belt and is moved through a heating/cooling oven, for softening of the binder fibers and the synthetic resin granules, resulting in an intimate bonding of the wood fibers, the binder fibers, and the synthetic resin granules. The final thickness and the bulk density are set to specified ranges.

Process for the production of a wood fiber insulating material board or mat and wood fiber insulating material boards or mats produced by this process

The invention relates to a sound-insulating board, in particular a footfall insulating board for laminate floors or similar applications. The sound-insulating board is distinguished by a continuous transition of its density from the one large-area side to the other large-area side of the board and comprises a mixture of unglued wood fibers, a binder and/or supporting fibers and a mixed plastic, such as arises from the dual system during the recovery of plastic parts.

Sound insulating board

The invention relates to an insulation material board composed of a wood material/binder fiber mixture and to a method for producing an insulation material board, in which an additive with a thermally resistant core and with a thermally activatable coating is added to the mixture, and the thermally activatable coating is activated by the supply of heat. An insulation material board may be composed of a wood material/binder mixture, including an additive having thermosetting and thermoplastic portions, wherein the thermosetting portion is a thermosetting plastic that forms a core and the thermoplastic portion forms a thermally activatable coating that at least partially encloses the core.

The invention relates to wood fiber insulating material boards and mats, in which the wood fibers and the binder fibers are aligned three-dimensionally. The fleece of wood fibers and binder fibers can alternatively have synthetic resin granules scattered on it. Likewise, a woven fabric or a film can be applied to one or both sides. The product obtained in this way is heated in a heating/cooling oven, calibrated and/or compacted to the desired final thickness.
