A connector-with-integrated-check-valve for minimizing microbial migration to catheter-tubing is formed from three parts: a connector-for-catheter-tubing that is hollow and with an internal valve seat; an elastomer gate (sometimes with disc and stem); and a connector-for-extension-tubing that is hollow and with support-surfaces. When one end of the connector-for-catheter-tubing is attached to one end of the connector-for-extension-tubing, a pocket is formed where the seat is disposed opposite and facing the support-surfaces; the gate is disposed within this pocket; such that when the gate contacts this seat due to urine backflow (reflux), the connector-with-integrated-check-valve is closed to such urine backflow; and where a remaining end of the connector-for-catheter-tubing is attachable to catheter-tubing; and where a remaining end of the connector-for-extension-tubing is attachable to the extension-tubing, such that there is a continuous urine flow path from the catheter-tubing, to the connector-with-integrated-check-valve when open, and to the extension-tubing.

Urological system that includes connector with integrated non-return check valve for extension tubing and urology collection systems

A convenient urology undergarment pant system for collecting urine discharge comprising of an undergarment that extends from around the waist and down the thighs. The undergarment can be used with urine collection devices from the urethra area (male condom-like coupling or female external receiving device), from the bladder by means of an ileoconduit system, and from the kidney(s) by means of a nephrostomy system. The undergarment includes a sewn inner pouch formed from an additional piece of fabric that holds the leg bag in place without the need for leg straps. There is an opening in the crotch area of the undergarment that provides means for placing the leg bag inside the inner pouch. The undergarment also includes a lower opening to accommodate the release valve of the leg bag.

Convenient urology undergarment pant system for urine collection

An optical system which contains multiple images comprised of two or more images at varying focal distances, which when viewed consecutively and in repetition will exercise the ciliary muscle of the eyes. The optical system may have its own power to illuminate said images. The shifting of conditions of the viewer to alternate the viewing of one image and then the other, may involve the physical movement of the user's head, the system may contain a motor coupled to rotate said system, or the configuration of the lighting source(s) shall illuminate one image and then another. The system may include a clock-timer and control of the variable speed of illumination between one optical image to another. The system may include a sound alarm to remind the viewer to utilize the holographic system.

A holographic system which contains a multiple image hologram comprised of two or more images at varying focal distances, which when viewed consecutively and in repetition will exercise the ciliary muscle of the eyes. The holographic system will have its own power to illuminate said hologram. The shifting of conditions of the viewer to alternate the viewing of one image and then the other, may involve the physical movement of the user's head, or the system may contain a motor coupled to rotate said system. The system may include a clock-timer to activate said motor, and for periodically illuminating the hologram. The system may include a sound alarm to remind the viewer to utilize the holographic system.
