A method to produce an absorbent article using a blank, includes the following steps: folding the side-edge portions of the side parts of either the rear portion or front portion in towards the inner cover sheet over supports placed on the side parts of this portion and extending along the full length of this portion, folding the blank about a transverse line in the crotch portion so that the end edges of the front portion and rear portion come to lie edge-to-edge and so that the side-edge portions of the folded-in portion overlap the folded-in side-edge portions of the second portion; and welding together the overlapping side-edge portions of the side parts within the area of the supports by way of ultrasonic or thermal welding.

Method for producing diaper pants of the disposable type

A pant shaped garment having a rear portion, a front portion, and a crotch portion, a waist opening with a waist edge and two leg openings bordered by a leg edge having a front part located generally on the front portion and a rear part located generally on the rear portion and on the crotch portion. Front and rear portions are mutually connected in two side joins which run from the waist opening to each leg opening. An elongated elastic element is pre-stretched along the rear part of the leg edge of each leg opening. The front portion comprises an elastically extensible material and the elongated elastic element constricts the rear part of the leg edge, thereby stretching the elastic material along the front part of the leg edge. The side joins exhibit a curvature in a direction towards the rear portion that increases in a direction from the waist opening towards the leg opening.

Pant-shaped article with improved fit

An absorbent article has an elastic waist portion, an absorbent element (), and a liquid-impermeable outer layer () which is intended to enclose the absorbent element on at least that side thereof which faces away from the wearer during use of the article. The absorbent element () is in its entirety arranged on the second piece (). The liquid-impermeable outer layer () is breathable, at least over a portion of this which covers the absorbent element ().

Absorbent article

An absorption article such as a pant diaper, having a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and an absorption body positioned therebetween, the article having a front end portion, a rear end portion, and a crotch portion lying therebetween, the rear end portion and the adjacent part of the crotch portion having a transverse elastic system, a rear leg elastic system which runs between the two longitudinal side edges of the article along the leg cutout of the article in the rear part of the crotch portion and crosses the crotch portion essentially parallel to the transverse center line of the article. The article has, on each side of the absorption body, a pocket for temporary storage of liquid, the extent of the pocket being limited by the longitudinal side edge of the absorption body, the transverse elastic system and the rear leg elastic system.

An absorbent product for men, having an absorption body () which tapers from a front section () of the product towards a crotch section () of the product and which is enclosed in a sheath including a liquid-tight layer () and a liquid-permeable layer (), both of which layers extend beyond the absorption body round about this and are mutually joined there. The absorption body () is arranged to extend, during product usage, from the front section of the product in the direction of the crotch section and is adapted to extend with its narrower end section to slightly below the penis of the user. On the liquid-permeable layer (), at the narrower end section of the absorption body, a liquid barrier () is applied, which is arranged to prevent urine emitted by the user from leaking from the surface of the absorption body towards the crotch region.

Absorbent product for men

A method of production of disposable diaper pants or disposable sanitary panty with openable and resealable side panels. A row of absorption bodies is applied on a continuous web of inner or outer cover sheet material, after which a continuous web of outer or inner cover sheet material is applied and secured to the web with absorption bodies at parts lying outside the absorption bodies to form a web of diaper pants blanks. First side panels having two parts connected by a detachable and resealable connection are secured to the diaper pants blanks at a side of a front or rear portion. Second separate side panels are secured to the side portions of the front or rear portions of the diaper pants blanks which to not have side panels. Individual diaper pants blanks with side panels are cut out, folded along a transverse axis in the crotch, and secured.

Method for production of diaper pants

Absorbent product of pants-like shape, such as incontinence pants, including an elastic waist portion, an absorbent element, and a liquidtight outer layer which is intended to enclose the absorbent element on at least that side thereof which faces away from the wearer during use of the article. The elastic waist portion is made from an elastic first piece which is essentially rectangular and is intended to form the rear portion and side portions of the pants-like product. A second piece forms the front portion and crotch portion of the pants-like product. The second piece is elongate, and the width thereof is, at least in the crotch portion, smaller than the length of the first piece. The second piece is arranged with its longitudinal direction at right angles in relation to the longitudinal direction of the first piece and is connected by a first end portion to one longitudinal edge portion of the first piece. One end portion of the first piece is connected to a first side edge portion of the second piece, and the other end portion of the first piece is connected to a second side edge portion of the second piece. The absorbent element is in its entirety arranged on the second piece.

Absorbent product

A product includes front fastening members, which have first regions connected to them, and back fastening members, which have second regions connected to them, with the front or back fastening members being able to receive and co-operate with the other of the front or back fastening members, respectively, and a first fastening ability being exhibited between the front and back fastening members, and the front fastening members or the back fastening members have a first extent in the longitudinal direction of the product, and the other of the front fastening members or the back fastening members, respectively, have a second extent in the longitudinal direction of the product, and exhibiting an extent ratio there between, the first regions can receive and co-operate with the back fastening members, exhibiting a second fastening ability, and/or the second regions can receive and co-operate with the front fastening members, exhibiting a third fastening ability.
