A system is disclosed, with a non-transitory computer-readable medium; a communications interface; and a processor communicatively coupled to the non-transitory computer-readable medium and the communication interface, the processor configured to execute processor executable instructions stored in the non-transitory computer-readable medium. The instructions may cause the processor to receive, from a first client device via a chat channel, a request to schedule a video conference. The chat channel may be configured to enable one or more users to exchanges messages using a respective client device. The processor may further determine a meeting time for the video conference based on one or more parameters associated with a set of users having access to the chat channel. The processor may further schedule the video conference based on the meeting time. The processor may further post, within the chat channel, a meeting notification, where the meeting notification includes a link to the video conference.

Systems and methods for enriching event assets for video conferences via aggregating content in a lifecycle of a video conference are provided. In an example, a computing device associated with a participant of a video conference obtains event information for the video conference inviting multiple participants including the participant. The computing device generates an event card based on the event information and presents the event card in a user interface on the computing device. In response to receiving a command to join the video conference, the computing device joins the video conference. The computing device obtains content exchanged among two or more participants during the video conference and updates the event card presented in the user interface to include the obtained content.

The Reminder Engine detects a selection, by a first user account, of one or more reminder attributes for a message received in an online chat session. The Reminder Engine generates a reminder object for the message according to the one or more selected reminder attributes. The Reminder Engine receives a reminder notification based on expiration of a duration attribute associated with the reminder object.

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media related to a method for dynamic sharing of meeting assets within a messaging platform. A communication system receives one or more meeting assets that are associated with a meeting that was conducted via a video communication platform. After the meeting has ended, the communication system generates a meeting summary component configured to be displayed within the messaging platform. The meeting summary component may include information describing the meeting and meeting assets. The meeting summary component may be posted into a messaging channel of the messaging platform.
